  Naa it's not a REAL tech company. Folks google is nothing more than a fancy AD company they only make money from ads and such. Flutter was great but should have been made to work with JS and not DART

  This is 100% hiring manager stupidity. Engineers getting pulled from tasks three or more times per candidate to do technical interviews is an enormous waste of resources. It's just window dressing for the current staff who are being overworked and keep asking when more help is coming. The average time people work for a company is now down to less than a year, so when you pass the interview you're likely to find something else or get laid off. Corporate America has blown the trust of the workforce and it's unlikely to get it back.

  The same applies to maang companies as well: not all of their software developers do CS but software engineering :)) Otherwise what is the issue with being picky for a non maang company? 'being picky' and 'broken interviews' are different things.

  Haven't used it but I would have no trust in it. You either write your own code or have to review others' code. I worry too many people will become reliant on it, although for many bad programmer Copilot might produce better code than them.
