  I also add black pepper to mine, it's said it helps your body to absorb the turmeric better, usually when you buy turmeric capsules they have black pepper extract in them.

  This is my perfect length for locs. I plan to trim mine to keep them around this length. It’s just such a flattering length and the styles really pop at this length. Love the lipsticks!

  @11:37 wait, huh... I'm confused. How does ur hair actually loc if u take the ends out like that??? I'm 2 weeks into my loc journey & I opted for double strand twists too. My natural hair is shoulder length so it's long but the twists are super thin & stringy. I was gonna take it out & do the palm roll method instead bcuz I was thinking it wouldn't look right over time but urs look nice. I love seeing all ur different transition pics ❤😊❤

  DON'T take it out! I promise your hair WILL loc and flourish, just leave it alone. As far as the curly ends they are out, but the hair doesn't unravel

  Did your loctician say anything about the best way to deal with starter locs around the temple/edges? This will be my 4th time starting locs and each time I went to a loctician. This time I want to do them myself, but I'm trying to find information about the less thick hair around the temples/edges which is simply due to genetics and getting older, not mistreatment of my edges. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you for these videos. They're very helpful.
