The fights- Good Fan service-Great Romance- Interesting Plot- a total flop Exposition- nonexistent The characters are nice but get lost in the Disney level of plot destruction. Everything feels rushed and tbh we are all here for one thing: Lelouch and the MC doesn’t compare to him but she is definitely still interesting. Although they make her out to be a great strategist there is almost no inner monologue to display that.

At some point or another, each and every one of us possesses an Asahi character within us. Our ability to do our best for others who we care so much is something that they rely on. One that you don't want to let them down, but you keep failing at it, and it's pushed you to the point where you're on the verge of giving up. This episode proves to show that it is valuable that we have other people to remind us that we are not fighting the battles of life by ourselves. I've shed a lot of tears in Haikyuu, and this episode happens to be in my top 3, lol! I still cry every time i watch this. Tbh, i even cried watching your reaction, lol! It's Noya believing in Asahi that starts the heavy chest for me. When he said it doesn't matter whether Asahi scores or not, he wouldn't blame him at all. He was hurt more because Asahi gave up. It felt like the ball he tried hard to save and give to Asahi was just rejected. Suga also blames himself for Asahi being blocked multiple times. Its not just Asahi who takes the blame. That game was traumatic for all of them. The ball compression really showed just how powerful Asahi's spike was. Also, Ukai and Takeda make a good comedy duo. 😂😂😂

"A moment that gets you hooked" is something of a big theme in Haikyuu. For me it was this episode specifically the "SUGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" shout from Asahi after conquering his fears.it resonates to me on a level I can't begin to articulate

While the anime seems to be a bit more accurate to the source material than the first season - at least it feels a so this far - there are still some changes made for no reason other than to be different. In the manhwa - Wangnan enters the test as the 4th participant, not the 5th. That means that the silver guy is 9th, and the the 10th competitor enters the room during the battle and gets obliterated before finishing the sentence. So I think it's safe to say you are correct when you say you believe he would have killed if not for the time running out ^^

The best aspect I find in Haikyuu!! is that there is no bad characters all of them are lovable some way or the other ( even if you would love to hate them most of the time) but for atleast a moment or two you will be rooting for them.

AcTuAllY 😅 I think only maybe a month tops till the prelims, I am bad at explaning this so hopefully someone better will break it down more for you but basically the Japanese school year starts on April and ends on march . There is two major tournments that is mentioned in Haikyuu!! First The Interhigh which is held in July I think, and it's prelims is mostly on May/early June. and that's the one we should prepare for right now. so we basically have 2 month tops from the starting of the school year to prep for and 2 weeks has already passed by now for sure. The second is spring tournament that is held in winter (January) the one that Hinata watched the Little Giant play in. and it's prelims are at October I think. sorry for the bad explanation and the bad English 😅

So youtube done something right for once and recommended your Haikyuu ep 8 for me. So as a true Haikyuu fan I ran and started binge watching your reactions and subscribed too 🤩. Been enjoying them very much so far and wasn't planning on commenting till I finish binging but your Black clover comments had me commenting now 🤭 Clover is one of my favorite along with Haikyuu they can make up my mood whenever I feel down. I agree that Hinata has an Asta energy ( the show as a whole tbh reminds me of clover energy) black bulls and karasuno has even the same chaotic good underdog energy. and have Lots of common VA for now these who we met Hinata = Luck Kageyama = Langris Daichi = Gauche (minus the noose bleeds 😂)

Ja Wangnan - wah-n-g-nah-n ("Wan" like "one", "g" like in "goal"), you can just call him Wang "He didnt choose the FUG life, Fug life chose him" xD Reactors usually calling FUG "Akatsuki" because of this character`s black robe with red pattern, but if I would compare FUG to something then FUG has the Sith Lords vibes and I hope anime will deliver the same vibe that I felt when reading this part of the story. New studio plus s2 has ton of fights so with this art style, I guess, will be easier to animate them, also its more similar to s2 webtoon art style at least character designs

Hinata is hilarious! The poor referee's forehead.. 😂😂😂 They played a 3-set match. The first team to win 2 sets wins. A team needs to get 25 points with at least two-point margin to win a set. If both reach 24 points, then the game continues until one team leads by 2 points. So technically, a game could go on forever since volleyball doesn't allow for a tie. There's also a 5-set match where a team needs to win at least 3 sets. If they reach the 5th set, the 1st one to get 15 points with at least 2 points margin wins. The same rule applies if they both reach 14 points.
