  England here. The first Healey I drove on the road was the 100M. In following years I drove & worked on all the Big Healey models. My very favourite was the 100/6 with overdrive. At the time they were on Dunlop Roadspeed cross ply tyres & could be a bit ‘back happy’. The last of the big Healey was a slug. The seven bearing crank engine just did not rev. One year the 3000 had three carbs. Not a great success.

  @@FreeRandom- I had a 1970 and a 1972 340. The true HP for the 1970 was about 320 and the 1972 was about 300. The 340 is a great engine!

  My first car! I had both a coupe and a liftback but preferred the coupe. I also had a 76' Coupe. In the US, these had the 20R not the 18RC and a different steering wheel as well as ugly US spec bumpers. I swapped in an 18RG twin cam in mine.
