So just how are they going to fund their (our) new 'sovereign wealth fund'... and fund all the massive 'green' infrastructure we need... which what's left of OUR North Sea Oil and Gas can and should be used to fund... infrastructure which is so far behind where it should be by now already... ...so instead KILLING OFF both along with all those jobs... so no economic energy independence, all while we even further fuel Putler and regimes that don't care about the planet or people... and those who we are paying to fund their own green and other economies... are they completely NUTS!

This is what i cannot understand why are the Unions still funding the Labour Party who have been the main opposition to the government, but back everything the Tories put forward. Now they are in power i can’t see any of there policies that benefit the retired working class people except the pension triple lock. How long will that continue when driving the economy bankrupt with the ever costly mad green Net Zero policies, that will do nothing towards saving the planet. The Labour Party are no different than the Tories Party, they have distanced themselves from the working classes, all the old socialist politicians have gone, they have been acting like communist in Parliament, none have been listening to the people. They seem more interested in the concerns of a certain demographic, they the welfare of the rest of the country. It has to take a new political party, to bring a change back to true democracy. Who for a start have least two policies that will benefit the working class pensioners, & the low wage earners. Lifting the tax scale before paying tax to £20000, & scraping the out dated T V who are force to pay, that the majority of pension is theirs only means of communication with the outside world. The leader of the Labour Party & the Union has forgotten what it likes to be working class, in work or retired. With their high pay salaries, sitting in their ivory towers. The Unions needs to wake up, with draw their financial support, to change course, stop the woke agenda, & virtue signalling to the rest of the world , have policies that resolve all our problems using the taxpayers money instead of sending it to every other country that doesn’t need it.

this is like saying, " we make Model T- Fords, so why cant we continue to make them " ? Steel technology has moved on, but due to "nationalisation" there was no investment in modernising our steel industry in the 60's,70's, 80's etc, so it fell behind and became too expensive for the low grade steel it produced for its market. Today China, India and Tiawan can do the same, but FAR CHEAPER. This closure is a result of nationisation, resulting in both Labour and Tory govt's chosing to spend money elsewhere and NOT investing in the future of steel. Thats why nationalisation is always a bad idea, as any govt will always build a hospital/school etc first, before a new steel mill. However, that reality doesn't sell newspapers / get viewing figures. STOP PRESS : Coaching Inn and Stables available for quick sale, close to RAILWAY STATION.

Why didn't the steelworkers support the miners was it the case of I'm all right Jack maybe now you understand what it felt like I think Tata Steel is going to say Tata to you, the chance to sort this counties government out was lost because industries like the steelworks along with others freely chose to throw that chance away and now it's come back to bite your butts, life can be a bitch suck it up and move on

Back in 2022 during the bin strike there was a council election, in which council leader George Duggins said he was proud to have beaten "Sharon's candidates". By which he meant the TUSC candidates, who Sharon and Unite had not backed. But Duggins believed they had. As far as Duggins was concerned, he was battling Unite in the election and was PROUD believing he had beaten the union! From his view, Unite was already divorced from Labour and he was happy with that.

Simple, nationalize steel. Steel like oil is vital in the modern age. Without it, you can't do anything. And G*d forbid if there's a war.
