  I have a mini Slow Cooker with an "Auto" function, which basically cooks food on "High" for 2 hours and then switches to "Low" for however long you want to keep it on. Normally, for me, that's 8 hours in total and I wouldn't be without it. I'm not a fan of these plastic cooking bags, I'm wary of cooking anything in plastic and we have enough plastic rubbish in our environment as it is. Why not cook in the ceramic pot itself and, if needs must a bit of elbow grease to clean it after? 😉😉
