If you plan to build a dual monitor setup with old Thunderbolt displays, you should take into account that the devices almost all have different brightness levels due to their age. Over the last few years I've had about 7 Thunderbolt displays and the brightness has been between 3,900 (almost yellow image) and 5,900 (pretty good white) lux. Apparently the displays burn out over the years depending on how heavily they're used. I measured 6,500 lux during the iMac 5K DIY monitor conversion.

Hiii, so I have a question; I have a laptop which has a thunderbolt 4 port and a type c with display port support; which one is better for the following case: I am enrolled in ASU and they have imacs in library for students to use. So my biggest question is can i use imacs as a target display( external display) for a windows computer that has a thunderbolt 4 port? because if yes it would be great and partly the reason why i still haven’t invested in a apple thunderbolt 4 cable is because idk if it would work.

No grease where the shoes touch the backing plate? You should wire wheel the hub center too.

Your fuel air screw will probably be between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 turns out. Check the factory specs and start from there. It’s not the cdi

I've been doing Drum Brakes for 40 years. Unless you live in a no snow State, the Drums will never slide off as shown. Get grade 5 8mm bolts to drive the drum off. That's the purpose of the 2 threaded holes in the drum. Although Honda reduced how many Springs are used to hold the Shoes, you cannot use any of the Brake tools that have worked in the past. The single, large top Spring is a very toughy. Even with the Adjuster turned all the way in, and brake shoes and e-brake set correctly in the Adjuster Fork, it is tough tough tough. No reason that springs needs to be that stiff. Because of the small brake shoes, all the hardware hides behind the axle hub. Even basic hand tools have limited room. For many years I wondered why they just don't use a simple Snap Ring for that e-brake clip.

You're off to a bad start. I have one. You don't floor your car all day. Diesels want to run on a fraction of their output. An alternator or a big alternator. For AC, use a pure sine wave inverter after 12 volts, DC. Funny fluids is how you shorten it's life. I want mine to last thousands of hours. Don't copy failure. Project Farm broke his.

Can the mac mini or mac studio with M2 be connected to the apple thunderbolt display or is there incompatibility? Do I necessarily have to use the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter? Or should we proceed another way? Should I use the same display cable or another one? Or is it possible with the mac M1 but not with the M2?

Brilliant! Even if it will hit I feel like most of my tall parts would be fine getting knocked over, but also sequencing them so the order moves the gantry away from previous prints will also save lots of time. Thanks for sharing!

You don't need to use that vise grip to stop the shoe from expanding. The slave cylinder doesn't have enough pressure to pop the piston out...as I've never experienced that happning in over 50 yrs😂 It might if someone got in the car and accidently pressed the brake pedal...but what are chances of that?🙄

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if they will work with Ubuntu but it seems like it is hit or miss depending on the computer hardware and the appropriate adapters. Good for you for not giving up when the Apple adapter did not work.

Hi, I have a question I recently git an i mac A1407 which have the thunderbolt connection I tried multiple adapters to hooked to my dell PC but no luck and when I asked my brother he said he has the P400 and gave it to me I tried connecting the i mac directly to the thunderbolt but didn't work so I tried the thunderbolt to DVI converter with a different screen and that one worked just fine, my question is a special driver for it to make it work with the i mac A 1407 or I am out of luck. Thanks,

My shit stays around 199-200 while driving, gets up to 207-210 at idle. Highest I’ve seen it go after leaving the scanner in after shutting the engine off was a reading of 218… I’m not sure what the hell it is seeing as the the fan clutch appears to be operating normally, the ECT sensor appears to be operating normally, and it doesn’t overheat while driving…. Not seeing anything in the oil yet thankfully, so it can’t be a blown head gasket. These 3.5L’s are weird, man.
