Lovely woodlands my dogs would have a ball there
I played climbed there when I was a wee lassie have great memories of the fares held in it and fishing with my friends caught my first ever fish on the boat next to it just loved exploring around it,see it's now private ? That's a shame ,I've been back few years ago ,thanks for video.
@@sha.37 Ah lovely memories 😊 Yes it's privately owned so that's as close as we could get 🙁
Thank YOU so much! Glamis Castle is my favourite castle. It's been far too long since we visited but it's so lovely to see it again. The Italian gardens are amazing.
I had to turn the awful background music off ... it was very irritating and distracting , but otherwise it's a lovely video !!
Great little film and very interesting. Montrose is a historic airfield, 603 squadron of Battle of Britain fame once resided there in August 1940.
@@johnbyrne4466 Thank you kindly for the info and watching😁👍
its a cracker of a castle
My ancestor is the original Lord Irving who was granted Drum castle by Robert the bruce...Have a book that holds all our history...Not that it matters as it is doubtful that anyone cares who live in Bonshaw or drum for their relatives so far away in both time and country ...
@@janetirving2226 what an amazing history you have! It's a beautiful castle and area 🏰😊 We do care for our history, that is why we record our trips 👍
Hope you didn't damage that pipe that you hit with your head too much, they'll be sending you a bill for the repairs, there's video evidence available. Thanks for all the info on the vessel, much appreciated.
Thanks for this. I went to school in neighbouring Lochgilphead over 45 years ago then my parents moved to Ardrishaig as I began working in Glasgow. The dad of one of my school friends was the captain of the Waverly at that time and I remember being in the wheelhouse steering her for a wee while. Lots of fond memories growing up here. Damn how quickly time passes.
@@ChrisM541 Happy to bring you some memories 👍😁 You are so right about time passing quickly!
The Hollow Mountain is amazing. If you visit, remember to take binos so you can check out the osprey nest across the water on top of the mobile phone mast.
Great drive brilliant work as always
well enjoyed this one keep up the good work
Thanks for this beautiful video! 🎉 Patrick Virginia USA
@@patrickmulligan7994 Thank you for joining us on the journey 🙏👍😃
Thanks for this, I love these kinds of places.
Conficious he say WTF am I doing here
@@johnbeckett1866 😂 I was mightily confusioused 👍😂
there's thousands of kilos of copper wire along the length of the loch. each torpedo had 2 trailing wires running from it. These were cut when the torpedo was salvaged and it was allowed to sink to the bottom. Used to snag it all the time when 'pirking' for cod
@@tanyaroyredcar Wow, love that info, thank you!
lol not sure how you could call a lion fish "ugly" they are strikingly beautiful and would cause some serious illness if you got stung by one.

Hi Johnny, thank you!
Always loved Rothesay, Ardbeg, Port Bannatyne, Ettrick Bay - happy childhood memories.
Outstanding video !! Beautiful Church with history galore !! An amazing family to have done something like this. Thank you for the post. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you kindly for watching and commenting, we appreciate you 🙏😀 it's an amazing church and the local community do an outstanding job in maintaining it for future generations 👍⛪
Way too fast to be helpful; get yourself a drone.
These videos are helping me so much for planning my trip. Thank you!
Excellent and thank you for watching and commenting 👍👌🙂😎

Watching from Levenmouth, Fife. My brother in Christ Jesus turns 40 today and I am just about to travel to St Andrews to show him all of this in person as a birthday treat via zoom. He lives in the USA and will be very appreciative of this visit. Thank you for the upload. ❤
drove this so many times chip shop on the main street is brilliant the onion rings are amazing
Wish we had known about the chippy lol 😂😅
I'm looking at buying something like this at least partially to replace my toaster so thank you for demonstrating this function specifically! It so often gets overlooked!
You will love it for toast and many other meals, I pretty much use it daily! Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it 🙏👍😁
Drummond, Safari, Stirling, her, home,
A shame so little archaeological work has been done around the Rock, especially in the muds of the foreshore.
😀👍
your music spoils a good video, sadly.....
Thanks for your feedback 👍
well i enjoyed it left and right lol been that road a few times and i get to enjoy it
😀😊👍🙏 Thank you!
Also, you missed another one; this time it was on your favourite side, the left! Significant on its own! 😉 Nothing really much of interest in your video without some interesting facts accompanying it! 😬
🤔🧐😯 Why identify the little villages on the left and miss out on mentioning any on the right? There’s a significant one, beginning with the letter ‘T’, just before you reach Perth? 😠🙄🤷♀️
We are often in areas that are unknown or unfamiliar to us at the time of recording videos, it is what it is. Thank you for watching 🙂
@@gomadgo13 You could do some research afterwards and add captions to spark a touch more interest for your audience, but as you said; “it is what it is “! 😑 !
Having a trip there in June.
