  @@Hay1den air stairs are on the EFB I think. Check you have a nose wheel steering axis assigned as well as rudder axis

  Great video. Anyone know how to get that big middle screen to turn on. I think my plane is defective. It used to turn on I believe with the irads switch but it no longer works. Is it me doing something wrong?

  @@ameenbenhamadi5152 check your control calibration. You don’t really use the throttle anyway, it’s more like a gear shift mode selector in an Airbus. You touch it 2 or 3 times total during a flight. If you still can’t get your physical throttle position correct, just move the in-game one on the pedestal.

  bit late but idk if this is a problem with my joystick but when i takeoff the a320 just starts turning the rudder and i can't stop it turning so i cannot fly? do you know if this will fix it?

  @@Cheeseeatingshark yeah sounds like axis calibration and assignments. Check your control settings.

  @@lla-ip7lq yup you’re doing something wrong. Probably not putting the throttle into CLB. Follow the steps closely.

  how can you get working vnav for me its not working for me I go into cruise then I put BOD alt like idk for example 1700FT then I RE HIT profile but as soon as I do that it RE DESCENDS But ull say but y do u hit profile Well when I go into cruise I set my alt at 1700ft and THIS TIME I DONT RE CLICK PROFILE and its worse the plane DOESNT EVEN DESCENT.

  Hi, sorry to be a pain but have come back to you tutorial but I am still have issues with the A/T arm. On your display this is already set when the tutorial starts so I it was set earlier. At what stage did you set the A/T?? If you can talk me through it that would be great. Thanks

  @@chrispurkiss1491 I didn’t, it’s armed by default from a runway start. Everything I did is shown in the video. If you’re starting from cold and dark, just flick the AT arm switch at any time before takeoff. If youre experiencing issues with the AT from a runway start, there’s probably something else wrong. Feel free to join the discord in description and share videos for diagnosis

  @@vitolam410 not sure about the cargo doors - check the manual on the PMDG website. Engine cutoff is just clicking the fuel switches by the pedestal, then batteries off should end the flight and log it correctly in the sim. Obvs there are a few more steps if you wanted to do it realistically or put it in turnaround mode etc

  @@vitolam410 well yes, you will get beeping - a quick shutdown is not a correct or realistic shutdown 😂 If you need a correct/realistic procedure, follow the in-sim popup checklist for shutdown :)

  How do you remove constraints? For example I’m flying a SID and it’s 5000 and that’s what’s in my fmc and atc tells me to climb to FL180 how do I override the fmc is there as easy way? Cheers

  @@willroberts2773 ATC on VATSIM will never tell you to ignore a SID constraint. Offline ATC is broken and you should ignore it - the airplane will automatically resume its climb when the constraint passes. However it can be overriden, just dial in desired altitude and hit FLCH then once you’re ready to resume managed altitudes, return to VNAV mode and set altitude as appropriate for that phase of flight

  i just discovered this game 3 days ago and i absolutely love it. The graphics are excellent and it doesn't take long to load up at all. The scenery is really good also. As a retired real life pilot i find this simulator absolutely fun to play and to re-live almost a near life experience. I started flying dc9s in the early 90s and retired on the 777's in early 2020. Cool video

  @TiJayFLY BTW on descent I was getting an FMC message (Drag Required). I checked with ChatGPT, which suggested applying the speed brakes manually. That fixed the issue. Was that the correct thing?
