  This anime is so sad, yet beautiful at the same time. “Love is like the Sea”. This show is so good, super underrated, and now is my 3rd favorite anime of all time, because of how much it had an emotional impact on me, along with the amazing story, characters, and everything about it. It makes me feel sad sometimes, bc I do get the feeling of how amazing it’d be to live in such a world, while ending up “failing in love” with a person so close to you… I don’t know how to describe it to well, but all more I can say, is that I love this show, and it deserves more than just the one season it has, although, the ending is pretty much perfect the way it is, just like another (popular) anime, Toradora!. Both of these shows have the same author and the same studio that made the great shows. 😮😢❤️‍🩹

  I remember hiking outside of town, all alone in tenth grade. I arrived to this clear space, right next to the forest. There were these mountains in the distance, so majestic. They were caressed by gentle, fable-like rays of light, just like you would see in a cartoon. It was all so melancholic. I played this on my phone, along with a few other songs with similar tones, and kept looking towards the forested mountains, eternal with their elderly beards under the soft clouds that filtered the sunrays. It was out of this world. I am in college and still remember everything so clearly. I think I will for a long time. Bless you, creators of Avatar.

  in the abandoned destroyed wind temple.. nobody around, just wind breezing, soothe wide scenery, and calm night.. sitting between the ruin and hear this music..

  i used to listen to this while laying down on my bedroom window (actually almost hanging myself w 50% os my body out of the window) id watch the sky and the city upside down till the song stopped, i was 14 and in a really bad place, its amazing coming back and listening again after 10 years..

  It's honestly easy to forget how lonely aang really felt from time to time and the show did a great job at reminding us that. Absolutely love this show to death and I'm happy I grew up watching it, i hope one we get to see the gaang again in someway

  The first time I watched Avatar I was in Mexico and it dubbed in spanish, and I fell in love with it. This episode I watched it the day I was leaving my home village to move to the United States, exactly 3 mins after I watched and finished this episode my uncle who's my mom's brother told me to get up from the couch cause everything was packed to leave. I said good bye to my dad's side of the family including my grandparents. When I got into the car this music popped into my head, and I looked back at my village. Everytime I watch this episode and hear this music my village comes back to my head like Aang remembering this temple. This music for me is so nostalgia because if my home village in Mexico and now everytime I hear it now its just not my home village but my country this music is beautiful.

  I feel you man 😢 . Angel beats season 2 will return one day, i don’t hope so I know so. If you cant wait any longer you can always read the Angel beats Heaven’s Door manga which is a prequel to the anime to ease your boredom or misery. If you already know about the manga then look for other amazing anime to watch, there is plenty of great anime around to keep you entertained as you wait for season 2, I recommend watching classroom of the elite, a great show with great characters and amazing story about an aloof but extremely intelligent boy who uses his manipulative genius to control the school and do what he wants. Word have circulated that a season 3 is ready to be released sometime this year which is great news. There is also Heavenly delusion, a post apocalyptic anime that came out this year set in a ravaged world filled with dangerous man eating monsters and two kids who have to make their way across this ravaged world in order to find a supposedly safe haven called “Heaven”. Other great anime I personally love that you would definitely love too are Attack on titan, parasyte the maxim, jujutsu kaisen, chainsaw man, naruto, blue lock, death note, one punch man, fmab, and hunter x hunter, but youve probably seen or heard of these before. I for one am watching the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya because the female protagonist kind of reminds of me of Yuri . Great video by the way and best of luck in getting through with this. We’ve got no choice but to move on with our lives and take what we learned from the show with us as we let it go or else we’ll never be able to find happiness. Youll be suprised by the great things awaiting for you in the next chapter of your life.

  I'm actually searching for the moment in 'The Legend of Korra' (Book 2, Episode 2) when Tenzin and his family visited the Southern Air Temple, specifically the part where Jinora looks at Aang's statue in the sanctuary with calming music, but I can't find it anywhere.

  I almost cry every time if I hear this song. My husband died three years before... Like in this game I thought ervything will be Allright but the ending was heart breaking... Like serah he died in the end.. Like my mother (cancer)

  Aang's lines are very comforting in a way. After waking up far away from home only when you get there you see all of your friends...your entire family dead and your home in ruins. Yet you still look forward and with a smile; "We're all that's left of this place.". As you are flying through the night sky you remember all of the fun you used to have there and see your memories fade into the distance as you get farther away from your home. Yet you are still grateful that you have friends at your side. I can't imagine how much courage it would take to forgive the person who committed these atrocities across the entire world.

  Man this show makes me feel emotions I can’t even explain. A nostalgia that can’t be replaced by anything else. A part of me wants to be able to rewatch the whole show for the first time, but deep down I know I’d rather keep it as a cherished memory. I’ve rewatched the show hundreds of times(no exaggeration, I’ve rewatched it multiple times over a 13 year period) I can’t believe an animated kids show can make me feel like this. It’s almost ridiculous …. Almost

  This music is so beautiful and it just makes me tear up. Like the strength that it took Aang not to kill Ozai after all he’s done to Aang’s people…I cannot even begin to imagine how much hurt and pain Aang’s had to experience with this episode. Then to travel and see that it’s all over the world as well, the level of global destruction and now it all falls on him to end it because literally no one else has the power to do so. Just so much for a child to process at 12 years old.

  When I leaving my ancestral home land 🇬🇹 this song capture how I felt leaving. Looking out the plane window I see the beautiful landscape and mountains so clear until we got higher lost in the ☁️.
