    Bakit kaya ang mga PINOY triggered na triggered when Philippines is compared to THailand.

    I'm a naturalized American from the Philippines. I grew up in Mandaluyong City. I have always appreciated the malls we have in the Philippines compared to the malls here in the US. Malls in the US are closing down because there's not a lot going on. In short its boring so people will just shop online. Don't take to heart his opinion. He has his own preference. As long as you guys are happy with what we have in the Philippines, that's all that matters.

    I'd still go to that mall. Luxurious malls such as those in Dubai don't last that long. It's too expensive to the locals. And this goes to any luxury malls in the world. I like that mall because it's like a luxury mall that's affordable. Anyway, the Philippines (the whole country) beats Dubai in the luxury real estate market.

    After seeing a few of those malls myself, I’ve wonder what will happen to the Philippine economy if Amazon gets a foothold there as in the U.S. Amazon completely destroyed the mall culture here. Going to a mall here is depressing.

  • @JoeyZee-vs4kr
    @JoeyZee-vs4kr15 сағат бұрын

    Philippines already has online shopping entities available similar to Amazon in the States but the malls continue to be packed because malls are leisure places in the Philippines with lots of restaurants and kiosks, groceries, arcades, bowling alleys and in some, even skating rinks, shooting range, archery and in the biggest malls in the world, a soccer field on the rooftop. Even indoor roller coaster. Sometimes malls here are called "little cities" because they are so huge and have everything a city has. Philippines is a pioneer in building modern mega malls and the rest of the world and its neighbors are just copying it in terms of grandeur. Malls in the Philippines is already common in the 70s and 80s. 😊

    This mall reviewer should switch to being a hotel & resorts reviewer. He’s looking for something interesting in a mall where stores and stalls (the one he said market) are supposed to be inside. Not sure what kind of mall you are looking for but if you go the US malls, what you will see are also bigger stores of branded clothes, shoes & jewelries. There’s not much difference except for the space size😒

    Shangrila mall is just beside mega mall, to the right when you're facing mega mall. Think they sell luxury brands there. Sm aura in BGC is also very good with a sky garden. Some malls are embracing the sky garden concept so that those that originally did not have one intentionally created sky gardens like the gateway mall in cubao and sm mall of asia in pasay. You might want to check them out next time. Ortigas is also a CBD where the stock exchange used to be located. It has the green building of San Miguel, a conglomerate, also covered in greens. Think it also has a long elevated walkway like in Bangkok. Greenbelt also has one. By the way, Alabang is another CBD with greeneries but think not as busy and packed. Guess what's to look forward is when the common train station in Quezon City opens as it is surrounded by 3 malls and where 3 train tracks will connect. Ayala malls by the way are more into green, open and spacious concept than Sm malls. Oh there' s also Parqal in Pasay with a walking street at the middle. Yeah so many malls in ph. And you've just been to few of them

    Those malls are not in Manila. You are wrong. SM Megamall and The Podium are in Mandaluyong. They're near the border of the next city, Pasig - where most of the Ortigas CBD is located. "Manila" is not the only city in the entire Philippines. Fyi.
