Love Stonehaven, we have stayed at Queen Elizabeth park three times now and always have a great time. The town has a lot to offer, we have eaten in number 44 & always had a great meal, it's reasonably priced & dog friendly too. The harbour area is charming.

Thanks Wayne and Sue, it's nice to see site's that we haven't stayed at before. We like to go to Scotland every year so it's great to see potential sites for us in the future.

Thanks for the video. It looks like no privacy between pitches and badly kept surfaces. Not my cup of tea.
Back of Kepoch was tremendous value and a good chance of a front row pitch. You really need your own toilet/shower. Sunnyside Croft has better facilities but I found it very pricey for a family of four. Haven't tried the others.

What a super site and nice and convenient for the town with plenty going on. I know how much a day ticket costs for the river spey if you stay at Grantown on spey, its £55 for limited access between the bridges and all fish to be returned.
i have walked down to the river many times and watched them fishing

I believe you can fish on the campsite for free but it is very shallow, i didn't see any fish during my visit but the river runs into loch tay so you never know what you may catch, good luck
I was so fed up when we stopped at the Commando memorial, it was surrounded by scaffolding and we could barley see it! Still I thought oh well there's always next year.
Terrific site Bunree & the ferry ride is free for foot passengers, how good is that? Missed the waterfalls so will have to do that next time. Rotton of Sue to trip you up like that, hope you didn't hurt yourself too much?
all is good
Loved it in Garlieston, the pitch we had was in the walled garden. We also had a meal in the pub which was very reasonable. At the back of the walled garden is the the camping & caravan site if the caravan & motorhome site is full?
You were privileged to see an otter in the wild. Inverness seems to have a lot to offer and the walk along the canal & riverside to get there was terrific.

Brora looks a nice peaceful site.
