Yeah it bums me out that we have this obsession with perfect clarity in gems. It's such a perfect storm for scamming people who want "perfect" stones. I also blame people jacking up the contrast on their pics so people don't know better what they should be looking for. That's a huge bummer, I'm sorry!
Yes often times people don't realize that gem pictures are almost always retouched.

Agreed, always read the reviews however this new vendor I tried only had positive reviews because none of their clients were getting their gems evaluated upon purchase. So I would always go a step further
Ah, need to go with smaller initial 'test' purchase. I've also had sellers be an excellent source for one type of stone, but then got a doublet pos when I tried to order something else.

I am enjoying your channel very much and just subscribed. I have looked for a nice Andalusite for a long time but they don't come around often. Most stones available lack any brilliance because they've been poorly cut with a distracting window and you never see their wonderful clear pleochroic spectrum.
They are hard to find, I buy them up when I find them. Its really due to no demand, people just don't know they exist, bir they're really unique

Very nice color samples, but unfortunately Spinel can be heated to enhance color and filled with oil or resin to enhance clarity. Treated spinels are very rare, but we see more and more stones on market. So for expensive stone good certificate is a must have option.

I wish you can have another episodes about Lab grown rubies and sapphires. I do not want to shell a hell load of money for rubies and sapphire like thousands and thousands, I find it more practical for Lab grown and enjoying its inclusion free gemstone rather than habing natural earth mined with lots of inclusions and struggling to find a high quality that you have to spend sooo much only a a carat or two
P.P.S. green on pale skin women looks awful. It doesn't match with the undertones of your skin. Blue, pink, clear. For STONES, for pale skinned people, blue, pink, clear. Soy artista.
P.S. I hate shoulder pads on women. look feminine. You are feminine. women dont have big shoulders. movie stars are trannlies. Women look different on camera.
