The only time I see a flash of anger and human nature in Dan, is on the subject of people asking for prayer. It is ugly. He mocks them, yells… that isn’t Jesus. That isn’t our Heavenly Father. That is Dan’s flesh and his own doctrine! Show me in the BIBLE Dan, where it says NOT to ask for prayer! If it isn’t there it should be on your lips!! I do not like the disdain Dan hold for people asking for prayer. For crying out loud, even Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him! Before he went on the cross! James 5:16, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1, “As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.” Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Colossians 4:3, “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.” When we pray for others, selfishness slips away and we are blessed. To condemn people for asking others to pray, is wrong! Jesus’ ministry was all about people asking him to help them… which is prayer!! Mocking and getting disgusted with people is not what Jesus did when they came for help.
I never saw Dan yelling at people. He talks about not asking for a prayer often but he also talks about asking for a prayer. Difference between two of those is not to ask too often as it can become our tool, and we wont start renewing our mind and doing what is on our side, but we will just keep looking for people that can pray for us. There is nothing wrong in asking for a prayer, and he was talking about it in Kingsdom living school, but its wrong to just jump from person to person and ask for a prayer when we arent dont anything to fill ourselves with Word of God and renew our minds and hearts. Another thing is what is our motivation, if we are full of fear and we ask for a prayer for that reason, or if we just wanna someone to agree with us in a prayer.
Ive wondered about that too, I think he's talking about the people who ask for prayer every week but they never move their feet.
I don't think your discerning his motive correcty.. It's rock solid people that he's referring to are usually stuck In The realm feeling. Doesn't sound like you are being quick to listen? The scriptures your quoting. Your takin out of context. Paul is asking for prayer for open doors. Not to get over things.
I've watched hundreds of Dan's videos. I think he is referring to people who go up for prayer over and over and over and they are constantly focused on the problem. The Truth sets us free. The Truth is what we have to believe. ❤️🙏✝️

And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness" I've been wanting to u serstand this passage for what it means... Kinda like how thos message talks of "repentance" and lends a different clarity to what true repentance means... I dont think I've arrived at a comfortable understanding of what this Matthew passage means yet.... I kinda think I'm in similar reflections as you mentioned in your comment.... "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you" ...

I was born again in the early 90's and started going to an AG church. I believe in the gifts and the moving of the Spirit. However, I am concerned with the desire to "live" the book of Acts. The book of Acts is a description of the spread of the Gospel. It covers many years. Its not as if miracles were happening throughout the day everyday. In addition, why do people want "power" to raise the dead and heal, when they might find loving their enemies to be a challenge (or even loving their spouse)? Seek to obey the word where you know you aren't, then seek God for more.

@@wrknathome9254 there is neither jew nor gentile, male or female. Jesus healed gentiles and cast out demons. If you want to go that route, that nothing in the gospels apply to gentiles, then you limit the power of God in your life. More power to you.
@@blobmonster9494 obviously I wasn't saying that nothing in the gospel applies to gentiles. I'm simply saying that Jesus told them in that specific instance not to go to the gentiles. In other words, it was a unique scenario in which he sent out the 12. In order to understand how a passage applies to you in the 21st century you need to understand the context. That's all I was saying. Consequently, that verse seems to apply specifically to the 12 disciples.
