  I'll answer the question of the title. The reasons men are so obsessed with humbling women is because they are insecure of that fact that women can live happily with or without them. We've known due to statistics and other forms of scientific evidence that the most depressing humans are single men. Why else are they on the FBI's list of dangers? Why else do men shoot up schools when they get told one word, no. Its pathetic.
