Billy has the blues voice. Dusty has the rock voice. I think Dusty is one of the best rock cocals ever. ZZ Top is best when they sing together IMHO. Stuff like this and Beer Drinkers.

God this sound.. it can't get any better... incredible recording.. RIP Dusty.. these sounds and that fun will remain forever 😎

What's a real mindfuck is that this is the same mix I heard live at the 50 yr. reunion of the Texas International Pop Fest. I've never a live rock band sound that good. Especially outside!

I've always loved ZZ Top, but it wasnt until I really started to focus on learning the guitar that I realized just how much of a legendary genius Billy is on the guitar.

Man, impressed with Frank Beard's time keeping on the drums!

Great musc from the Texas 3 some!!! 👍🏻❤️ 🎼🎙🎸🥁 Dusty's backing vocals and bass playing will be missed.

Typical ZZ Top Sound ! The best little Rockband from Texas, i love that :-)

Just listened to the whole album as it's amazing they still sound just like they did way back when these were recorded! Billy Gibbons is every guitar players guitar hero. I'm telling you those 70s albums are another breed of cool. Billy's tone and ability to have the finest touch or just rip your head off in his licks is second to none. He is one of my biggest influences and one bad motha.. Rest In Peace Dusty Hill.. one of the best voices in rock n roll and certainly top 10 bassists of all time ✌🖤🤘 🌹

Arguably my favorite tune from the boys.

A bloody bass filled tune. I love it. RIP Dusty.

Simply one of the most bad-ass and original riffs ever. Love 70's ZZ Top. I used to listen to XEROK dominate the air waves from across the border and there was nothing the FCC could do about it. I heard a lot of great music on the "X."

Oh, a fellow Quo fan! Yeah, I'm impressed by Frank - it's obviously slower than the original, but even at that speed it's still a hellishly complex drum part.

Dusty could do things on that base nobody else could pull off. Greatest base player that ever lived "PERIOD"! IMO 😉

I've always loved this song, and have been fortunate enough to hear them play it live on many occasions. One of the few bands that have made me stop whatever I was doing, to make sure I got to the show!

Went to the concert last Wednesday night in Grand Island. First time with out Dusty. Sad and shocking at first but Elwood did a fine job filling in for Dust. Elwood needs to relax more tho....we got ya Elwood! Tim Montana and the Shrednecks opened the show and they kicked ass! Overall perfect show! Billy was on fire and Frank looked and sounded great! Will be seeing you all again in 2 months at Pinewood bowl!

There could NOT be a better or more appropriate stand-in for Dusty. And he has THE PERFECT NAME for the gig! You can't beat the name Elwood Francis for the name of a member of ZZ Top. I mean, it would work even if it was Francis Elwood! 😄 💪🏻 👍🏻 🎸 🇺🇸

​@@DoyleFMagreed! Elwood is figuring out the little moves and was singing some of dustys parts of songs but just seems nervous but he does have a big pair of boots to fill but he's doing a fine job! And they are keeping the music alive for a few more years!

Went to see them in Grand Island the other night. Very sad not seeing Dusty but Elwood did his best filling in for him. Great show as always! Tim Montana and the Shrednecks opened. They put on a great show also! Overall a great night!!!! Got to meet Tim and his band. Really down to earth people!

It was 1978-80 that I flew them on several tours around the country. What a hoot it was to fly theses guys. Franks girlfriend went with us most of the time. She is his wife now. Dusty always sat up front in the cockpit with me. Got to know him quite well. And I sure do miss him now.

El Loco was my first zz concert in Lincoln Nebraska at perishing. Walked in with cheap sunglasses and t shirts and come back out to a good ole Nebraska blizzard. 41 years and well over 20 concerts from one side of the states to the other end and all points in between.

@@nebraskamike607 yea, one of the cities we flew into was Minneapolis. After we landed Billy came up front with a gorillas head and told me to put it on while we taxi in. You should have seen the look on the lineman’s face when he was parking us. Lol Will never forget that one. Lol
