I think I prefer the orange one myself, but the clear is really good too. I sort of wish the barrel shroud was mostly or entirely orange, instead of just a little bit.

Yeah. I was considering popping it off and giving it a quick spray job. Or tape.

When I first got my Baize from Monkeemods it was the original version that had 8 different sized pins along with every screw and entirely unassembled and assembling it without instructions and trying to guess where everything goes was one of the most frustrating and simultaneously rewarding experiences. After hours of assembly I finally got it together and immediately it shot the o-rings off, and I had to open it again to fix that. The next day I tried target shooting at 50 feet and it shot the new o-rings off AGAIN, and I thought I would go insane from the tedious amount of work it takes to mod the thing. I’m glad the improvements fixed the spring change system because even that used to be a chore where you pry open the shell from the back. Does this version have the threaded dart gate? I wonder if the harrier barrels would fit it? Anyway, great video! I’m hoping this newer version of the Baize comes to OOD and I can transfer over my metal internals sans that godforsaken pusher.

It's much to strong for most wars lol BUT... It is a beautiful piece of work! I'd probably get the clear one I an a sucker for transparent blasters. Just need more orange though

I’m having the same issue with oring with my omega kit. Frustrating how the cheapest part can impact the entire system.

Hi would you prefer this over the worker harrier?

Personally maybe. BUT, it’s really all preference. If you want medium to high power and an easy maintenance experience, get the Harrier for sure. If you really like high powered, bolt action, and a much heftier blaster, then the Baize is the way to go. But the Baize requires more patience in modding and repairing it when needed. I personally like the Baize but then again a lot of that opinion is based on the feel of the blaster and not on practicality for me.

Wow. when you think that less than a decade ago, if you wanted 200fps it basically meant a brassed longshot, the hobby has come a long, long, long way. I quite like the bolt action on this blaster, but, well, I think blasters like the Harrier and Swift beat it on price and quality. (And lets not forget that x-shot longshot on the wall behind you, Barrell and spring swap and they're nearly equalling this level of performance). We're kind of spoiled for choice. I do worry though that the hobby is edging towards "airsoft levels" of entry point cost.

When u think about blaster going towards AEG semi auto or full auto system. It's unavoidable the cost of making it will go up. Players are no more content with just simple flywheel or pump and shoot. I know some will say " Why not going into airsoft if you want AEG? " Becos I don't wanna be shot by cop playing airsoft in public. Nerf blaster can, in public without getting into trouble with law.

@@zenden9 Personally, I don't think the move to AEB is inevitable, nor is the rise in price. I've got no problem staying with manually operated blasters or flywheelers, and I'd like to see the price kept as low as possible so that as many people as possible can get an entry into this hobby. If we can't provide that, we may well lose out to Gellsoft, (and that's not a dig at Gellsoft by any means!)

@@FelixstoweFoamForge Flywheel do not offer the accuracy nor fps that AEB can, even it could. The cost is almost same as AEB. As for rising cost of nerf blaster. I don't think that is a concern. As long as you have made in China or China brand. Surely, there are plenty of blaster cater from kids to professional nerf players... Didn't we recently have a X-shot long shot that cost $35 with 150 fps release into the market?

@@zenden9 We did indeed have the x-shot longshot, and everyone in the Uk hobby bought one for £35. that's the way I want to see the hobby moving. (And also away from lipo. safer battery tech like Li-ion is on the way.But that's a me thing). TBH, I think of Blasters as filling "real steel" niches. Flywheelers= Sub Machine Guns. AEB = Assault Rifles. High-powered Springers = Bolt action Rifles. So, each fills a role and works best at different FPS. SO there is definitely a place for AEB. In fact, I'm working on the planning stages of a brassed, half dart stampede. Aiming for 140-150 on that one. And don't forget, thinking of price, a typical 14 year old can't afford a £120 blaster and £30 shipping. And those people are the future of the hobby! We need them.

@@FelixstoweFoamForge In fact, I think AEB is the way for young's and ladies to get into this nerf thing. Imagine, they have no strength to prime high performance blaster but they yield for good blaster(accuracy and quiet operation) to enjoy in this hobby. AEB is the way to go. I have experience where father need to sell off high performance blaster becos their kid can't handle the strong prime. Reduced spring makes it less appealing for kids if they keep losing to powerful adult springer.
