    The bells are not in correct motif for Westminster, this is so called Prafations motif, for Westminster it would have to be B° - es' - f' - g', like here kzread.info/dash/bejne/fHl-ysako9XKkqg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/iGuXlZioeNfNZaw.html It does have a part of Westminster clock chimes in the rhythm though, yes, its 3rd one if I'm not mistaken when its striking full hour (4 quarters).

    When people tell me they think bells (mainly the change-ringing bells of Britain) are rung by machines, this must be what made them think that. . .

  • @TheDenix8

    @TheDenix8

    6 жыл бұрын

    Its only 3-4 bells usually, 5 or 6 are extremely rare (in contrast to Britain), and practically never to high angles. Maybe you're right, but this type of ringing is only used in 2/3 of Slovenia and part of northern Italy so I don't think it's very widely known. It's much more likely that people see most videos of German or French bells with automatisation and think all bells are automated (as there are a lot of videos and they are large countries with lots of tourism). Before we started uploading videos of Slovenian peals back in 2013 there were only a handful of videos with few tens of views.
