bro, this decision of the judges shows that arbitrariness can happen in battles. Judges can do whatever they want, and do not bear responsibility for their mistakes, continuing to referee battles. in football, a referee is removed from his job for an erroneous decision, but in beatboxing, everything is forgiven to the referees. Shield, gather together the entire American community and make a video message that you want these judges to be removed from work. You can do it, don’t forgive them for it. otherwise they will continue the chaos. Here the winner is ZVD and all of us commentators support him!

@@poedim_da_vipyem The only problem is that football has certain rules that a referee can enforce, whereas a judge also has to account for subjectivines, live perfomance and crowd work. you gotta remember that being in a stage filled with raging audience help differ your opinion.

zvd had pretty much perfect execution here, his combos are so nice to listen to on stage. while i will say that i think zvd beatboxed better here, alem has such a great way of connecting with the crowd. yes, i know he's been doing this for over 10 years, but tiger shot gets me pumped up every time, i cant help it. this goes to zvd for me, but man what a great battle

nah Alem came to battle and had the crowd with him ZVD had nearly perfect execution but could not keep up with the energy of alem. Alem engaged both the crowd and the judges in a flurry of attacks towards his opponent. If this were an elimanation then alem would have lost but it's a battle

i agree with pepounis decision here, pretty close battle but thought zvd edged it with his execution and sounds, alem’s stage presence is next level though undeniably, sick battle

ZVD brought out my two favorite routines (probably because he knew how tough it would be) You can tell this is rigged when you hear the reaction of ZVD’s drop vs the reactions to alems goofy Pokémon beat

Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking ZVD should've won that, no disrespect to any of them but putting judges where their beatboxing styles are very old school seems definately biased towards someone such as Alem. Alem had the Energy and Quickness, ZVD had a checkmark everywhere else.

I said it before but there is a serious problem with judging in beatboxing where the judges automatically vote for the guy with the bigger name regardless of performance. I'm seeing so many younger beatboxers getting screwed over because of bias towards the older guys.

What you say makes no sense whatsoever for many reasons but let me give you one: if what you said was true then Alem should have won the whole thing this year, napom should have one the whole thing last year, footboxg should have won the whole thing the year before .... Napom should have won gbb last year then, I can go on and on. What you see on a battle video is far from what you feel when you're in the crowd, it's really easy to become an expert behind a screen. But crowd control, live power and sound precision are things you can only measure live. You can have your opinion of course but doubting the honesty of a judge panel full of champions is disrespectful AF, I'm not saying this to you only, I say this to all the "experts" out here. Last thing: was pacmax a big name before winning a bunch of stuff, NO, was zede famous before becoming world champ, no, was Pe4enkata a legendary name before building her legend, no........ This might be one of the best examples that judging needs to be a bit more objective.

When the majority are talking about how ZVD deserves to win, there is something wrong happening and you know what i mean

Zvd deserved the win. Hands down. Alem always wins with his crowd control and technically. As a vet, why are you still still the same fast, fast? If you’re still going to compete then we should see come musicality. It’s just fast beats faster beats and then if you’re at a disadvantage, faster beats. Bring us something new. unpopular opinion but I actually think Alem beat Osis. But after this battle I really think the judges need to put more things into consideration. Sure Alem had the crowd but that doesnt mean his beatboxing was better, crowd control is just one thing in a battle and Alem had more things over Osis in their battle such as technicality and execution which is why I think he deserved to win that one. Btw I'm not a ZVD fanboy I voted for Stan in ZVD vs Stan and H1ppy in H1ppy vs ZVD

They were Sharp, strong AND accurate. The best shot against Alem is to be as clean, as loud and original (what Alem lacks the most). And ZVD was none of them. (Two already known routines)

Zvd had major tempo mistakes in first rounds.. it was even noticable to my untrained ears.. Zvd did amazing but compared to alem zvd had timing mistakes and relatively less croud control and low stage presence... Its battle with bloodshed not showcase with attractive flowers

仰る通り、私も2ラウンド目のあのミスが目立った印象です。 多少の改変はあれど彼の知名度を押し上げるキッカケとなったルーティンでのミスですからね… 審査員がBNBATTLES 2022での完全系を耳にしている場合、それだけマイナスの印象が強いのかもしれません。

Honestly when pepouni gets involved i will not expect clarity of judgement or honesty into it. ZVD was clearly better on execution and musicality and on the technical part. If we want bbx to get on the next stage we need to start to recognize that old guard can be judged not for their past but in the present. Big up for both of them but this one was embarassing in a competion.

ZVD shoulda won this for sure good job on alem but ZVD just was more creative with his stuff and a lot more interested compared to the TkK spam of alem

Hella biased... I love Alem don't get me wrong but this battle was obviously ZVD's. I noticed the same thing in the first round of Osis vs. Bookie, and in the finals of GBB 24 Napom vs. River.. A lot of favoritism going towards the French for some reason (don't get me wrong they are stupidly good) but a lot of these rounds should've easily gone to the competitor and yet it goes to whoever is French... Favoritism is very apparent and has been for France over the past year. Very disappointing.

Alem is a legend but he is stucked in oldschool technic battle style

ZVD won this. He had the pitch in tact, new sounds, a much bigger variety of sounds, cleanliness in all of his sounds and he has his own original style which is quite rare in the scene how it is right now. Alem, as a master of technicality and crowd pleasing, here he did nothing new. The variety of his sounds was very small and of basic level, whilst ZVD's sounds are much more complex and difficult to make. The judges seemed to undeniably choose the crowd pleasing and "battle" behaviour of Alem over ZVD's pros, but the level of his characheristics in these 2 rounds were undeniably much more important and worthy than Alems'. This analysis comes from 14 years of beatboxing knowledge and from a former beatboxer as myself (former Greek Vice Champ). Congrats ZVD! Keep up with the new styles and sounds! And remember, pitch is the most important thing if you want to move the beatbox scene steps further..!
