Okay ZTAY, let's PLAY, why do people call you a Luka hater, cause you won't give him props for his defense this season. last 5 games Luka was questionable to play, they even wanted him to rest. Last Kings game, for instance, still recovering from ham sourness, now with Achilles contusion on the other leg, then he fell and started bleeding from the knee, which they just taped over it and he went right back in, clearly in pain limping with both legs and he still showed up to play like a true MVP. Yeah, he was slacking a bit more in defense lately, that's because he is playing through injuries and Mavs need his offense more than defense, but he still forced at least 5 turnovers, with a couple of steals on its own that game. I gave you some stats on Luka's defense a couple of videos back and you never responded, and then people started calling you Luka hater. No one denies that Luka slacks in defense a lot, cause he does. But DESPITE ALL THAT, statistically, he is an above-average defender, and when you watch full games you see flashes of that where there are moments of elite defensive presence by Luka, but it is far from consistent cause he does not need to be because he is an offensive savant...

Who knows ball knows that you are not a Luka hater, fuck i'm a Luka fan but i can aknowledge that Luka is only solid on defense on post-ups and against slow wingers, he is awful defending off-ball and is easy to blow by because he is slow footed(not his fault here). The thing with Luka is many times he lacks effort on the D waaaay too much. Another thing, Luka "guard the ball" way to much and lose his guy on D a lot.

Luka is OK on defense tho, You can't expect him to average 34-9-9 and a defense ace at the same time, He is still averaging about 2 steals per game which is OK defense in my book.
