Maybe after a week of owning the car Kohen wanted a ZR1 Rear Spoiler for his C6 Grand Sport Corvette. He wanted the paint to match one and ordered if from rpi. It took several weeks to ship but they do come painted and ready to install. In this video we show you how to install the zr1 spoiler on a c6 corvette. This ZR1 Spoiler will fit Base models, Z06, Grand Sport. It is pretty easy to install but you do have to drill holes in the car to mount it. You will need some paint to mark the areas that need to be drilled. It looks really good and after looking at the stock ones actually fits the same. Even the factory ZR1 Spoiler has gaps and doesn't fit perfect. The next thing we do is install a set of MSD Spark Plug Wires. When we did the 2" Longtube header install the factory spark plug wires were setting on the header. Swapping to the MSD LS3 spark plug wires made this issue go away. The end of the MSD Corvette Plug Wires bend to route away from heat and Piping. I think he is saving for more mods so make sure to check out the future of this C6 Grand Sport Corvette Built. Travis, I definitely like the look of that spoiler over the factory one! I chuckled when you drilled that first hole and I said to myself, well he's committed now at the same time you did. :) I think we've all been there when the mod requires drilling into factory sheet metal or interior panels and there is that moment of okay here we go...In this case, good choice and worth a few extra holes to guarantee a solid fit. Nice video btw, I like the content where you and your son do some simple things to the car. It reminds me of being a young teenager and working through my own learning curve of basic maintenance and simple mods with the help of my own father years ago, and then doing the same with my son as he grew into adulthood and his first car ownership. Good to see you guys working together on these projects and passing those learned skills down to the next generation. Take care my friend!

He makes his own videos. Probably should post them.
Can you just double side tape the sides and only use the existing 4 screw holes? I would hate to start drilling my car. Looks great though!

@chrismaclachlan3422 me too. I hate drilling paint
Not that it matters but just sharing my technique. I put down blue painters tape any time I drill a hole in paint just so it doesn’t chip and usually makes a cleaner hole.

I should know, I have owned 40 of them from 1960 to 2011.@@TWAMotorsports
The Corvette ZR1 spoiler was only for the ZR1. The grand sport and the z06 base model never brought that spoiler.

It was a option you could order when I sold for GM
They still sell that part, but it's really expensive. I think it's like $700. It depends where you buy it from. I actually bought mines on eBay from a salvaged zr1 Cause the one that I have. It's not original, and it's made out of cheap plastic.

May look into that on the next one
Thats not a spoiler or a wing. You don't even know what you're installing. It's an air wicker bill. That provides little to no downforce. In no way shape or form is that a spoiler or a wing. But the Internet is full of hackers that love to talk and don't know what they're talking about.😮 Hackers
