Anything can go fast.... But take a jeep, arguably one of the worst handling vehicles of all time, and put it at triple digit speeds requires platinum balls. Much respect.

What I mean is that youd be hard pressed to find somthing that handles as bad as a wrangler. Ive own just about every generation of them and I am not fond of going over 70mph in them. Even in the JK.

This behaviour , paired with absence of roll bar, harness or even adequate restraints at all is called natural selection. Unfortunately, these guys and their stupid behaviour puts others at risk. All one can hope for is a single vehicle accident instead of a head on. Take it to the track losers.

I ran into this page because I am considering building a stretched Willy's Jeep with an LSX motor. This was fantastic! Like the others have said, I highly recommend a roll cage and 5 point restraints, just like what racing regulations would force you to have!

Thats one awesome jeep, but a set of rollbars would be great or ehhhh ;-)

ok, first off, that bike will beat those cars the first 1/8 maybe 1/4 mile. It is only a 600. Once he hits 100mph those cars will smoke that bike. SO don't get your panties in a bunch. Second that jeep is a beast, doesn't matter what you race it against. And third yea the rider should of been wearing gear. But that is his decision. So stop the lady talk and just enjoy the damn video.

2007 CBR600RR 105 hp top speed between 150 and 160 MPH Top speed of a vet 172 down hill The jeep`s .................................a jeep no known to have much top end The bike would have done fine had a car not been in his lane a 250 cbr top end is around almost a 100+ ish

Well, one main thing is that i dont know of any track that would let that jeep run. no saftey devices on it what so ever. no seat belts, nothing. and most respectable drag strips require you have some sort of harness.

Tracks wont let these cars run. They require full cages. I would love to make a few passes in my vette, but I don't want door bars. Therefore any 1/4 times in my 700hp vette would have to be done on the street. I have not street raced it. I road course it. Some track needs to let the cars play.

No roll cage on a Jeep with probably 600+hp is insane! That Jeep is a murderer!! lol Sick job on the Jeep tho

233monte Don't call other people morons when you're using your OPINION as indefinite fact. You call that being braindead, they call it having fun. Isn't that amazing that we are capable of our own thinking and can make decision ourselves? We don't need nannies hanging off of our shoulders telling us what we should and shouldn't do. This isn't the first time they've raced that Jeep, and surely won't be the last. They're confident in their build, and have every right to be and to make a choice whether or not they want to get in it and do pulls. Not you, or me, or anyone else but the driver are in any position to say if he should drive it or not.

Nice to see something with the aerodynamics of a cinderblock beating a Vette.

That torque twist on the Willys' frame actually says you need a frame (cage/ roll bar) to harness the power. Im thinking they dont cage it because 3 wheel motion gets views. I love it. Don't die plz.

Glamourizing crap like this really ticks me off. Dude in the over-powered Jeep with a lap belt, super cycle guy racing a bike in a t-shirt and running shoes and both of them running on populated streets. If you want to prove your masculinity and wipe yourself off the planet, fill your boots. But do it somewhere where you are going to make it a solo act and not take some innocent person or family with you. The part that drives me crazy the most is that there will be those that will mock my comments in some fashion....until it's someone they know that is hit and hurt or killed. Then it will be a big deal!

If the road was packed with cars coming by all the time, then there MIGHT be a problem. Here's the thing, you stereotype people who seemingly 'don't care' about their well being, but you play a stereotype of your own. You are in no position to tell them what they should or shouldn't be doing just because you feel your opinion is correct. It still is just that, an opinion and doesn't make it any less relative just because you wouldn't do it yourself. That's why the world is as fucked up as it is nowadays, because people meddle in other peoples lives, trying to make decisions for them based solely on their opinion and perspective on things. We're all adults and we're capable of making decisions for ourselves. Besides, no one goes racing with the sole intention of hurting themselves or anyone else, so you need to stop believing they aren't doing things in order to prevent any damage. An industrial plot of land is a legitimate area to race in most of the time (while staying within the city and not needing to drive hundreds of miles for a country road to do a couple of pulls). As for the guy on the bike not wearing gear, I find that to be silly as well, wouldn't ride without gear myself, but again I too am in no position to tell him what he can and can't do. AS for the Jeep, the guy built it himself, so he has the right to be confident in it being able to pull in a straight line. You don't seem him taking corners at speed do you? If he feels he is safe enough with only the lap belt in there, then who are any of us to say otherwise?
