10 years later, this is still magic

For me, this is the best zouk video ever, because it feels so fluent and natural. I have seen some nice preformances, but they felt so artificial and at some points, I even felt sorry for the woman, who seemed to be nothing more than a tool in the hands of the man. Here, the woman is truly a woman and she´s so beautiful! The man is really a man, strong but gentle with her. Perfect harmony!

A dance partner was teaching me partner Blues Dancing. She told me that she had read that to really dance Blues Dancing was to dance with your partner as if you are in love, even if you aren't. We did tha and it was an extraordinary experience, spiritual, mystical. Shortly after, Zouk Dance found me. And being "in love" while dancing became an ongoing presence for me. Xandy and Evelyn, the way you dance expresses that at an even higher level. Thank you! Pero no es zouk, muy bello, pero no es zouk... no tiene nada qué ver com las danzas africanas, em que los cuerpos se tocan mucho más y la mujer es comandada por el hombre, un poco como en tango, pero más sensualidad. En zouk, semba, kizomba, los cuerpos se funden en unidad y erotismo.
