No one is prepared at this stage in the story, being prepared is part of following the story, though you'll never be prepared when the moments arrive.

So so much better to see a true reaction not spoiled by the inferior live action. Brings you back to your own reaction so many years ago. The voice acting, the music, the nostalgic & simple, beautiful animation, man I cried all over again.

General advice for One Piece - never assume a character is dead unless the story flat out says they're dead. If you're not sure, then they're not dead. Characters in this show survive lots of things you wouldn't survive in real life.

Episode 24 hooked me into one piece

Zoro's ambition is not random, I'm grateful that here Oda found Zoro with Mihawk, one of the shicibukai and the strongest swordsman... Indirectly, Mihawk is a mentor for Zoro's life goal to be even stronger... Mihawk made Zoro realize that in the GrandLine sea there are many strong enemies.. cool proverb "like a frog in a pond who doesn't know the breadth of the ocean"

So it seems that she wants to watch the live action after Arlong Park. She knows that there's a huge spoiler but she thinks it will be okay since by the time she gets to that part in the anime she will forget about it. Now i don't know if somebody already told her about this but ain't no way she'll forget that. Episode 68 she'll understand why.
