Learned about Zorba the Greek just now (2022) , it changed my entire perspective, I cried because most of us ( I am 52) live our entire life in a pressure cooker environment, our parents, grand parents lived exactly like us that’s why couldn’t come out of it. I’ve decided to live my life ( I’ve done all my duties perfectly as son,husband and father ). Please start living , wherever,whatever you are, because we won’t get this day again, there is saying in our language (Tamil) that “ You can’t take a dip in the same river twice“ means the same water will not flow again, same with time, you don’t even know what will happen to us or family members or to friends in next 5 minutes.

I long for these days..... touching other human beings, shaking hands, hugging, breathing in other people's scents.... God help to bring us to our senses and remove all of the segregation and "social distancing ", masks, etc. Please bring us back to times where we can gather again 🙏

Everyone, in the crowd seemed to of enjoyed it, so why is there so much nastiness in the world ? We are only on this planet a few seconds, yet someone nasty or jealous wants to ruin it I really enjoy watching these type of flash dance, so much energy, and love, so please dont stop!!

This is so beautiful it just fills my soul. One of the loveliest moments and memories I have is with loving and kind Greek friends who were like family.

I find that I must tell how much I admire their culture, Greek and Turkish, They might not had the best of relations there for a while, but they are so related in their culture, a wonderful culture! One of my friends, a Greek lady taught me a lot about their traditions, language, and music! I speak conversational Greek, their numerals and alphabet thanks to her! Ностальжи. У нас, на юге России, раньше жили греки. Вечером на летней дискотеке часто звучала эта музыка, и мы всегда, все вместе, с греками танцевали Zorba, Сиртаки, никто не стоял в сторонке. Это было так здорово. Сейчас почти все наши греки переехали в Грецию.

My wife is 1st generation Greek and between her and this video. I was able to do this version of the Zorba dance at the reception of a Greek baptism. Also threw in some Antony Quinn moves as well. Greek dancing is great for cardio.

This is beautifully done. The book Zorba is outstanding as well. I just can't forgive the Greeks for standing up and cheering at various soccer stadiums on 911 when footage of the Towers being hit by the planes was shown. I will NEVER forget when I saw the film of the Greeks cheering on TV. I watched the Towers go down from across the river in Jersey. If I was cut from the same cloth as the Greeks, I would cheer on the Turks if they invaded Greece and took it over again. But Americans are better than that. How about if Greece pays us back all the billions we gave them to rebuild after WW Two? Let them cheer that idea at their stadiums.

What are you talking about? All Greeks were in terrible shock when 911 happened. I remember those days... We couldn't focus on our work, we talked about that for several months. I am sure there is quite a misunderstading here.
