Can you use this just to stream personally owned content to devices without paying a PlayOn fee? I have a lot of mp4 video files I'd like to stream in the car. This seems like a useful way to do that.

Yea that should work fine.. I just use PlayOn to download content. But you could load any mp4 files you want .. and I think .h264 works the best for encoding.

@@DamnGoodReviews Thanks. is the only way to even access my own files is using the PlayOn app though? It's so strange there's limited info on their site. Can't even find what size SD card is supported or file size/formats supported.
Como hago para verlo en español

Lo siento. No estoy seguro de que puedas verlo en español, amigo mío. Gracias por ver.
Can you use this just so you have free WiFi in your car to use iPhone gps and Snapchat? Or do you need a plan as well, to use WiFi?

Lauren Haley that would be something completely different this just creates a Wi-Fi network that you can connect to in the car that others can share with you to watch the videos not to connect to the internet
I wanna see next review of this
Can you connect it to a Roku Stick?
Where is the follow up review
Have not done it yet sorry
