Hi, thank you for the video but you lost me at 3:37 when you began talking about jumping "into the Zoom desktop client application." What is that? I have my account that I log into on my laptop but I don't know what you're referring to when you mention the Zoom desktop client application. Please explain and thanks in advance.

Mate life saver. It was stuck at 99 so I clicked on stop converting and though I'll start conversion again but couldn't find the recording. Didn't know how to check where it was storing local recordings, but now I do! Thanks a lot.

Awesome video!! If I only have a local recording, and can't find a Cloud recording. Is there a way I can have Zoom create an externally shareable link, natively? I know I can download the video and upload it to KZread to share, but just wanted to check if there is a way to do that natively through Zoom. Thanks!

I was disappointed in that when I saw the title of this article-“Zoom recordings not showing up?”-I thought this video might help me with my problem. However, I was disappointed that the entire video dwelt on “how to” record a Zoom session, and really nothing at all about how to “find” a Zoom recording that was made appropriately (followed all the right steps).

Hi. I don’t know if others have commented on this as I don’t have time to go through all the comments. You can record a meeting on a mobile device. If you schedule a meeting on the desktop app and have it set to automatically record to the cloud you can start the meeting on a mobile device and it records the meeting. I haven’t figured out how to access it on a mobile device. I always access it on my laptop afterwards.

One additional tip I discovered recently: If you normally run your meetings with an "alternative host" account, the cloud recordings still go back to the primary host account for the Zoom room. There is a setting to send cloud recording links to the alternative host after they finish processing, but they'll always be saved to the host account. Meaning you will need to coordinate with the host account for any recordings sent to the cloud that you can't find... They should be in the "recordings" tab of the host account.

Thank you for your video! Simultaneous interpretation is set up, and the co-host (English selected) and host (Japanese selected) recorded. However, the host (in Japanese) did not record anything. Can you tell me what the cause is? co-host clicked recording botton . Then it seemed host automatically stared recording . but video was nowhere .....

you would think the most popular video call software right now has at least a good functional recording option. I just did a cloud recording of a research seminar I just did and it didn't save...?

I have been thrust into the Zoom world with my training business. I do long 4 hour sessions. I have recorded to the computer and the cloud in the past. Why is there a video file and a sound file? The last time I tried to do a Zoom make up session for a student she could see the video of the meeting she missed but couldn't hear it! I could hear it on my computer. What happened?? I could use your help on some of this.

Hi How can I find a zoom recording on my iPhone

Can zoom admin can access my personal recordings, while recording there was only one option click to record one... Pls explain

I really don't know what to do, I had an interview for my research with somebody and I cannot find the recordings, although I pressed record and also waited for the conversion to happen. I have reset my settings now and tried a demo to record a meeting with myself, but recordings don't seem to be converting..... and apparently, I don't have access to cloud recording. Dude same, I'm actually teary eyed rn😭😭 I can't find my recordingg and i badly needed it for research

When I open a Zoom file/video from my computer, I can only view the screen very tiny next to the file. A program opens that I have called Amazing Slow Downer and it says cannot view the Zoom..I don't know why this program opens every time I want to view a Zoom I have ( That is a program I have for slowing down music)..I cannot seem to open it any other way to view it full screen size. Any thoughts? Thank you.

This is the first time I'm using Zoom recording. Just ended a 3 hours meeting, I'm not the host and it's free account on Windows. In the meeting there was recording label running, then the host ended the meeting, I checked the folder, nothing. Check the recorded tab on Zoom app, nothing, so nothing to convert. Does it take time for my recording to appear there? I didn't enable the save into separate folder thing.

What happens when Zoom stops sending you emails saying that a recording is available? I recorded the meeting and saved it on the cloud. I've emailed Zoom. No reply. I found where the recordings were stored once, but I now can't remember where/how to find them.

What about recordings we did before this?

If you have exhausted the steps listed in the video, I suggest contacting the host for the recording.

After saving locally and then moving the file to a folder, the video is no longer appearing, only the audio works!! Help!

Depends on a couple things. When you were done recording did you exit the application right away? If you have a Zoom account, login via desktop and then account settings to access recordings. Lmk

If I paused the recording but never stopped it, will it still be available in the cloud?

I discovered another way to find a missing file. If you gave the presenter host status, then asked them to start the recording, the recording file is likely on their computer. So, if the other options above don't work, ask the presenter(s) if the Zoom file is on their computer.
