I like the look of Zoo-Med better, the single door on Zoo-Med makes the viewing better, than having the gap from the two front doors on exo-terra! Zilla's new cages I think are the best, and most functional than the rest!

I have six exoterras and getting ready to pick up another. I totally agree on the top and door locking. It would be great to have the option to have a exoterra with the single door and no center brace. I really like the double doors, but the single is great for display animals. As for the styrofoam backgrounds I remove them and use the zoomed cork background. Thanks for posting.

I'm a big fan of the InSitu Ecosystems. they've got a sloped drainage layer and tons of custom options. not to mention its super clean looking

Very informative video.

This'll definitely be a helpful video for me. One of my tarantulas (Avicularia juruensis) is molting right now and she'll need an upgrade once she's ready for it.

Very important point for someone who want a paludarium and not a terarium. Botom distance where you can fill with water for a frog or for fish.

Very useful information, but, the zoo med new is 4 quid cheaper than the exo terra so for me with that difference, definitely exo terra. It just seems better made IMHO

Zoo med is pretty ok but brakes faster then exo terra. I have 2 zoo med cages and had replaced them 5 times. While with exo terra is way better quality and I have 6 cages of them and didn’t need to replace them because there still in good condition. Also exo terra has cooler choices of customization in your cage and I love it great quality. I prefer exo terra because for now it’s better quality and more money saving!👍

I must say I really agree on this. I have been keeping reptiles since I was 25 and since exo terra came I really love the product and threw all my zoo med in the bin!

We haven’t found out which one is more durable yet as we haven’t filled the zoo med enclosure but we will definitely keep a look out.

@@PredatoryExotics I found out wich one is more durable... also I have red that the plastic in the middle of the mech is for support and it won’t melt if you use exo terra heaters or lamps but if you use zoo med lamps it will melt😉

We’ve seen so many people melt the plastic on the top of their enclosures on both zoo med and exo terra but we haven’t had that problem as we place the light over the mesh instead of near the plastic.

@@PredatoryExotics you’re absolutely right but I use heating lamps from exoterra that use heat and light so there’s no need for the heating systems on the top of the enclosure

could you keep one whites tree frog in here? or would it have to be bigger?

You could keep it in there while it was smaller but they get quite large so you’d need to upgrade to the next couple sizes up.

How many leaf insects can you put in one of those
