That’s exciting, with a few little extra twigs they really are a great light weight van. Thanks for your comments. G&A ZBI71
I bonded my aluminium extra tread with sikaflex, made it easy, makes a huge difference evening up the steps, Zone should be on top of this by now.

That’s clever using sikaflex, I mainly did it for my wife, but it is such a good improvement, hopefully RV manufacturers will look at a redesign in the near future. Thanks for your comments.
Thanks for the tip, very unsafe the way it is so thank you

Yes, so much easier to access the van, we talk to so many other travellers that struggle with the same problem. Thanks for your comments.
It's pretty poor that you have to fix this design flaw. Good fix by the way. I was wondering if they would fold up again, and they did!

Definitely something that RV manufacturers could look at, fortunately I like fixing things. Thanks for your feedback

@@grahambelby9117 Yes! I know the feeling. They can use that against us by denying warranty though. They dig their own graves in my experience.
Australian standards for risers on steps is 225mm maximum Hmmm wonder who’s responsible when someone falls out on that original top step of a Zone . Just thinking 💭 at least your close to the standard

I did look at the Australian Standards when I was working out the design, that was the closest I could come to, allowing for the steps to still fold in. It’s surprising RV manufacturers just ignore this issue.
