Lol Yeah. Maneuvering in those bulky suits was anything BUT easy. There's a documentary on the Classic Media DVD of Godzilla Raids Again, titled "The Art of Suit-Acting," which discusses the pros and cons of the concept in full detail.

You can see clips in my first Zone Fighter Tribute compilation. In the fourth episode, Zone Angel sent out a zobot (contraption used for sending messages) to ask Godzilla to aid Zone Fighter in defeating Spylar and Wargilgar. Nothing else was ever properly explained before or afterwards.

It's the Showa Godzilla, so he'd naturally be on the same side as anyone else trying to prevent aliens from invading. Plus it's a children's TV from the 70s; the story didn't need to be more detailed than that.

I wish they would make zone fighter toho's own godzilla between godzilla vs headorah and Godzilla vs gigan

..... I love it.

Marquelle Hanson As do I. Followed by the Heisei and then the Millennium series in that order 😎. But the Showa era was undoubtedly the best. Not just because it was the longest, but also because the 15 films were made with the most heart. As an aspiring artist, I have a strong admiration for a concept like that.

Marquelle Hanson I wouldn’t call it a “guilty pleasure” experience at all, as I’m always entertained by the series for all of the right reasons...well, when I’m watching the “good” ones, anyway. What I’d love to see is what Honda, Tanaka, Ifukube and Tsuburaya would’ve been able to accomplish if they had access to and knowledge on how to use all of the modern-day special/visual effects for their films. Maybe if the script were written by Shinichi Sekizawa, just like back in the day. I truly think they could’ve effectively pulled something off.
