I used to play this song everyday etarven with a black label beer esandleni sam when I dropped out of varsity after my mom passed away, but when bhuti Zola said "noba ungenabani I think you wonderful" that's when I put my beer down and tried by all means to go back to school and finish my qualification. Lengoma brought me back to life and helped realized that I'm wonderful. Dankie ma Grootman, what a song.

2011, doing grade 11. Felt lonely, felt like a victim. Was smoking weed every day. Stealing cell phones at school and honestly it was never about the money but to look cool. Remember around August, my friend played this track and put it on repeat while we were smoking. Man, I went home at 2 am and I was ready to change my ways and focus. Glad to say it played it's part in my journey. Next year 2024 January I'll be admitted as an Attorney. I cjanged my life believing that I am wonderful.

As a country we let our prophets go to waste. We should have protected Zola and moulded him. Such messages should be incorporated into the township schools syllabus; instead of spoon feeding our young ones European and American influences.
