It is just a job. They are paid to work in shifts and the contractors are happy with the contract. Yes, they might go extra mile in doing their job well.

I am not Indian. But I can see the very importance of this tunnel militarily and economically. In the future, when communist china collapse, this tunnel will link up India Ladakh to East Turkistan (Uighur) and central asia. This tunnel and Rhotang tunnel are NO ordinary tunnels. You guys are making history. I think.

It could have been done 25 years back... Due to lack of innovation of previous goverments, that did not happen. Now a dream accomplish within 5 years of time....We lost those years when the proposals began..

The names of Everyone who participated in this could be mentioned on the tunnel walls for the future generation to know what they will be enjoying. we always leave with the person who inaugurates the structure, it is time we also give credit to those who built it with their sweat especially under adverse circumstances. Zojila Pass Road was constructed under heavy enemy fire to position tanks at kargil in the 1948 battle with pakistan by General Thimiah by the Madras Engg. Group those who martyred are mentioned there.

Thanks bro. for uploading this video. Very informative. But i think work on this tunnel started in way back in october 2020. But still its seems like 30-40 mtrs tunnel is complete. Its very strategic project for India and this should not be delayed so much. Govt. Should intervene and expedite its work.

Irshad bhai zojila tunnel single tube hain na. This looks like 2 tube. Why is that ? Tunnel was only single tube 2 lane 14.5 km . Is there escape tunnel also now.

Actually yeh chota sa tunnel hai 1.5 km Zojila tunnel 1 hi tube hai 2 tube wala avalanche area ke liye banaya
