God. I appreciate this on so many levels. Zach really does have exceptional attention to detail. The aesthetics of his headphones may be unmatched at this point. I love it, Michael. I think this is the caldera you can never sell! 😂

If you could only own one strictly for its Sound Signature.... would you keep the Caldera or the Atrium Open?

I'm planning on ordering a pair of Caldera... ...earpads (for my Mod House Tungsten headphones).

I just got the Zebrawood LTDs and they sound very well balanced across various types of music. Listening to Coltrane, Miles, and George Coleman has taken me to a new level of appreciation for great music. Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray, Clapton, B.B., and Muddy Waters make the Caldera's talk. The next stop is the closed version...

Caldera is my favorite headphone, period. The custom wood options are the icing on an already perfectly baked cake of sound in my opinion. Sweet pair in the video!

I have almost the same Atrium with aged copper grill. They seem like would (with some care) last decades. Caldera was outside my price range. Some of Zach's headphones look like trophy craft objects more than mere sound devices.

Hard to imagine what crimes against humanity Mr. Garage has committed.... anyways, hope he gets out soon from jail.

The Atrium is the most neutral. I find myself using them most. If you don't have a lot of headphones then the Atrium is a great option, it's an all-rounder. The Caldera has more spectacle. Technically brilliant, these will wow you the most.

Zebra wood is gorgeous

Sonically speaking (i.e. aesthetics aside), if you could only keep one, would it be the Caldera or the Atrium (or would it be a coin flip)?

Such a tough call. It's a Sophie's Choice for sure. Without aesthetics, I'll say the Caldera, though it's close.

i want to say you spoke before on the resolving power of the best headphones vs the best in-ear monitors. i could be wrong. anyway, in your experience, michael, is there a clear winner in sheer technical abilities? i prefer the size and portability of monitors but if headphones are the clear winners, i’d be down to scoop up some cans. the caldera is one i really want to listen to.

I think over ears still have the edge. Though IEMs like the Ragnar close that gap with each generation.

Please what headphone amplifier are using here? Is it the Enleum or Zahl or something else?

Caldera closed vs Verite Closed vs Focal Stellia? Which one has the best soundstage ?

I haven't heard the Verite closed, so I can't comment. Between the Stellia and Caldera closed, I'd personally choose the Caldera for many reasons beyond (and including) soundstage. I'd also like to hear the Atrium closed, since the open back of the Atrium is one of my current favorites.

I don't get it. You got the same uninspired Caldera grill. I thought you were going to have the Atrium grill on the Caldera... but maybe I misunderstood.

Excellent video as always and now I'm very interested in demoing the Caldera. Sounds like a fantastic option to the Susvara.

Okay so what's the price? Because I want some that looks like an Ibanez m8m. Ebony Wood matte ash, black grill. Did they do anything to the tuning?

I mean it's the limited editions, I've got the Redheart Caldera, I'm really satisfied with the headphone, very comfortable wear for all day use (And work day, using them for work from home, on a Call Center job :P ), good bass, good treble, good mid, everything is good, or great. I feel like I do have some optimizing to do yet, but generally, don't know when I will "upgrade", maybe when the next susvara killer will be.
