ZMan Jackhammer VS Berkley Slobberknocker

Спорт

The Berkley SLOBBERKNOCKER is HERE! The Zman Jackhammer and the Strike King Thunder Cricket have long been some of the best bladed jigs accessible to anglers. Also known by the proprietary name of the Chatterbait, the ZMan line up has been an industry standard. Thanks to Berkley, there's a new competitor in town and it's a great one - the Berkley Slobberknocker!
If you haven't used the Berkley Slobberknocker yet, you NEED to! While both the Jackhammer and the Thunder Cricket are similar in style and in action, the Slobberknocker stands away from the crowd with a unique design and action. Come take a look as the Slobberknocker is compared head to head with some of the best bladed jogs around AND as a BONUS some fish are caught on them as well!
While I was catching laregemouth bass on Lake St Clare on them, while out at Harsens Island, they would definitely be a versatile bait for more than just bass fishing. I can see them catching smallmouth, pike and MORE!

It is so great to see you back doing what you do. Great review and love the name, but best of all, it worked great with some nice catches. Awesome job Joe!

L2F back on the skiff! My favorite videos. Looking great Joe! Good luck with the challenge buddy. Gonna hit the island one day next week……. Hopefully. I only have jackhammers and I love them, but I need something new. Thanks for the great explanation. Hopefully we’ll run into each other soon. 🎣

I have yet to fish that island. We need to change that. Looks like Largemouth Disneyland back there. LOL!

Gravy video. Glad to see in not the only one who forgets to check my knot after hooking a fish etc.... I purchased a 18 dollar Jack Hammer on Saturday, and watched it take flight less than hour after using it. Ugh, all my fault. I'm going to try the Berkley Slobberknocker later this week. 4 dollars cheaper. Maybe I'll remember to check my knot more frequently.

Thanks! Trust me…I don’t always listen to my own advice and have launched more baits into orbit than I care to think about lol

Have you taken the ultraskiff out on the main lake on a windy day? I've always wanted one but always felt a kayak around the same price range would be more stable during a windy day. Because LSC is always windy.

I have! If you search KZread videos on the UltraSkiff, you’ll see that it was designed for use in the gulf waters and high turbulence. It’s super stable and I’ve never seen anyone able to flip it! I had a kayak and sold it for the UltraSkiff. Hands down the UltraSkiff is much more stable than a kayak and can handle the worst of what Lake St Clair can throw at you. I have yet to lose any gear on rough days. The kayaks can’t boast the same results. I’m not willing to flip a kayak in cold water and risk my life, let alone my gear. Never once have I regretted the decision to switch over. As far as wind goes, it’s also superior in handling that as well. You can use an anchor, wind sock or trolling motor and don’t have to keep paddling to readjust as the tracking is always spot on.

@@live2fishofficial I get so tired, so quickly these days, man. I'm sure you know what I am talking about. I can start all full of energy, but my body's, "gas tank," hits empty before I know it. Ugh.

@@Maplecook I know exactly what you’re talking about…it’s so frustrating. The condition is no joke, you just have to keep pushing every day. Some are better than others, but it’s better above ground!
