The Zlin Z-526 Akrobat is a Czech sports plane used in aerobatics.
The Z-526 was originally designed by Zlin Aircraft in 1959. Its two-seat version is called the Trener-Master.

Einer meiner Lieblingsflieger und ein sehr sauber und weich geflogenes Programm - Chapeau !
An incredible experience from this flight. I am from the Czech Republic and this plane accompanies me all my life. I even have 526 zlin as an RC model. So SUPER plane and especially SUPER Mr. PILOT with a big P.
Love the modern style manoeuvres in the older aircraft, plenty of uncomfortable -g.

Absolute delight to see Man and machine in perfect harmony!
A much smaller performance envelope than today's high powered aerobats. It's fun to see the miniature loops being pulled through without stalling. Three axial rolls takes a lot of finesse with such limited speed and roll rate. A constant awareness of altitude is required and lots of effort is taken to get the last little bit of height out of each maneuver. It's like rowing a boat versus hanging on to a jet ski.

It’s not! Original inverted in-line 6! Lycoming would not fit in the cowling!
