People often ask me how do I make buildings for my Zlín SS1 RBR track, so I have made this video which should demonstrate the actual workflow.
Even it is impossible to cover all the procedure, it is quite detailed and technical, mostly useful for other RBR modders, but hopefully it can be interesting for casual players or Blender users as well.

    It's nice to see your workflow, you're doing amazing job. I have couple questions if u don't mind. Which version of Wallaby u have? What OS are u using? How did u manage to set up everything propertly that it works without any errors while exporting/importing? I found somewhere this editor(i don't know if its same version as yours), for example im getting error while importing "general mesh". I tested it on win 7 and win 10 but without any succes. I've reached the point that i dont know if Im doing something wrong or software isn't working as expected or maybe both idk :/ Thanks in advence.

    Hi, - use 0.29b, I also applied this patch to allow import twice as big files ntcore.com/?page_id=371 - Win10 Pro - I have created this Blender Exporter which does all the necessary pre-export operations for me: github.com/jendabek/blender-export-x-rbr The import error happens mostly because of the mesh is not separated by material (no multimaterial supported) or the object consist of too large meshes (too many polygons per mesh). Both is solved by that exporter addon. BTW use Blender 2.79 and not 2.8x, new versions don't offer baking to vertex colors and many useful addons (like mine :) won't work. There is just no reason to use 2.8 at all. Good luck.

    Hello friend Jan ... I consult ... will there be some way to incorporate more realistic skies in the rbr ... That is to say a mod in which we can manually change more realistic skies ... I have seen some of that in asseto Corsa and rfactor . it would be great. It would give more life to the sections ... Regards. DANIELWRC

    Hello, I don't bother with skies in the current phase of the development, but I think there are some original decent ones I will be able to use. Also I guess you can create a custom sky using a hackish method - by creating a custom "sky model" (a dome) around the track with the custom sky texture. I am currently discussing some graphics improvements with Bee, mostly regarding the shaders... so it is possible we will dig into this area as well later. Thank you.
