My Queen Green Tea 4” mattress topper solved severe lumbar pain that was caused by sleeping on a regular mattress!!!. It is a pleasure to lay down to sleep every night and wake up with NO lumbar back pain!!! Now I am ordering a 4” Green Tea twin bed mattress topper! I will not sleep on any bed without this money saver memory foam mattress topper!!!!.

I totally missed this review months ago! We recently got this for my 11 year old and we love it. It is so much better than the traditional beds!

I think that I like the Tuft and Needle the best. The prices on these mattresses are great! I am from the old days of boxsprings and full mattress with coils on top. I think memory foam is advantageous bc. it is portable to move around, easy to ship from online retailers, and affordable. I moved so much with the Army and the traditional bed was a hefty item on PCS relos. I read where high density foam originated with NASA. We are blessed to have it available to us as well!

The Zinus mattress is a great option for side sleepers on a budget. If they added a cooling cover, I think it would be perfect!

I found one on amazon similar to this green tea memory foam mattress and it was tempting but this one seems a much better quality, sad that it sleeps hot but since I am mostly a side sleeper I think I would be ok with that lol will just turn on more fans

I bought the 10 inch.. Added 4 inch of a non plush foam topper and it’s so soft without sinking into it so much.

I like that its a 5 and on the softer side.

I have the 8 inch (hybrid sleeper), and I love mine!

One thing not mentioned is the high-density "egg crate" foam is manufactured overseas. So, the Zinus is assembled in the USA with foreign and domestic components, while the Tuft & Needle is Made in the USA.

I guess the Zinus would work well for someone looking for warmth and cushiness for sleeping, don't think it would be a good fit for us. Thank for the info!

Even though I do like their motion transfer test results, this may be too soft and warm for us. Tuft & Needle may meet our needs better. Thank you for the review!

I enjoy my Zinus mattress. It does sleep hot though - I keep my ceiling fan on.

I do like the price much better on These two. I am side sleeper so I need it to sink a bit. I would probably lean towards the Zinus.

The Zinus mattress looks great. I am a little cautious about it being to soft and too hot.

I always thought the Zinus Green Tea mattress was a good mattress for the price but what kept me from getting one was all the negative reviews about people complaining about the fiberglass issue. If zinus would take care of that issue i think it would be the best bang for your buck mattress. Good video though👍

Im loving the look of the Zinus because i have been looking for a softer mattress because im a side sleeper but i do worry that you said it tends to sleep warm due to the amount of memory foam? I think i would maybe look more into the Tuft & Needle mattress but worry that it may be too firm for me ... amazing beds and i am curious to learn more about the Zinus Green Tea mattress. Thanks for a great review.

Mines decompressing! just got it the Med/firm Hope it's as comfy as I'm hoping it will be. Got a broken hip getting T-boned a few years ago & this is the 3rd bed since. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 3's a charm? I sure hope so.

I love a FIRM memory foam mattress, so this wouldn't be the best fit for me. It's a great choice for those on a budget though.

Have you tested the 10” vs the 8” and other zinus memory foam models ( ultima comfort)? Would love you see your reviews on that and if they’d be firmer?

I don’t see any fiberglass on this review why are the reviews for all these type of cheaper beds spam about them having fiberglass lol I’m so confused

They aren't spam. The mattress literally sheds fiberglass pieces whether or not you open the mattress cover. Look up the class action lawsuit against Zinus

I'm a side sleeper and this mattress KILLS my hip and shoulder. Feels very firm to me.

Probably too soft for me even tho I primarily sleep on my side I also sleep on my stomach part of the time. Also as a hot sleeper- not for me. Perhaps the Tuft & Needle..

does anyone know if the 8 inch version is firmer? I would assume so since its less layers and I personal like firmer mattresses.

Did I get a defective one? Mine feels super firm, my arms fall asleep on it. I’m 160lbs stomach sleeper. I recently ordered a medium mattress (6.5) , thinking that would be “softer”, but now I’m wondering it’s going to be even harder than the zinus. Unless I got a defective zinus.

I have the Zinus green tea "Gel Infused" Memory foam mattress, which makes it more firm, which is perfect! I am thinking that the gel adds to the firmness. Would you agree? Have you tried a gel infused mattress yet?

Gel can definitely affect the firmness of a foam. Cooler memory foam tends to feel firmer, so if the gel is helping the foam stay cool it could lead to a firmer feel....

I think this mattress would be way too soft and hot for me due to the memory foam, which is disappointing because the price point is fabulous. Maybe for a guest room...

I am researching beds today. It seems like they may be manufacturing this bed different. You show 4 layers inside and the current version says 3 layers.

You can't beat the price. But why is it called "Green Tea"? If I understand, it's memory foam, not tea leaves. Oh well, I already have a memory foam mattress that I sink deep into and I love it so I would definitely try this one out for the price and side sleeping benefits.

Didn't you get fiberglass everywhere when you opened it?

As soon as you said it sleeps hotter and it's slow to respond, I was out - lol. I find it very interesting that softer mattresses are apparently better for side sleepers, which I am. I cannot stand to sink into a mattress. I feel trapped! So I guess I would pass on this mattress.

There are some great latex options that are softer, but avoid heat trap and the stuck feeling

I am always warm at night, even in the middle of the coldest winter, so I don't think this one is for me.

Cool bed, dont prefer the sinking of the hips. This might be uncomfortable.

I am a side sleeper. Love soft mattresses. Love that it wont disturb your partner. But dont like the feeling of being hot

As a side sleeper the zinus sounds good but as a hot sleeper I’ll take a pass 😞

What the hell is a hot sleeper I have an air conditioner in my room and it’s 64° in here I’m freezing my ass off

This one just sounds hippy dippy by the name haha! First Avocado... now green tea? Overall, for me, too soft and too warm sleeping- so a hard pass.

am side sleepers most of the time. I just bought a innerspring mattress Twin and it is hard. I wasted money. I am in trouble because I sell my iPhone 12 to buy it.

They have a cooling gel one now yall hot sleepers get that one 😂 its like 30 extta bucks only

5/10 firmness ? Really? I felt it like a 8/10. Plus it creates a permanent indentation, in a matter of weeks. I keep tossing and turning, I’m returning it. I got a nectar. Hopefully that’s better.

Pregnant women have a reeeeally tough time finding the right mattress because their bodies are changing all the time. To avoid constantly changing the mattress I would recommend testing out different toppers to save some money.

Your eyes tell me that you are in the proper profession.

Great review... It lines up with everything I experienced with the Zinus mattress. I got a full refund on this hot, sweaty, limp sponge.

Why are they even advertising this mattress still? There's a lawsuit on Zinus matresses due to fiberglass. Do your homework and make sure not to buy anything with fiberglass in it!

This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and smells never bother me but... This mattress smells awful.

I’m cringing as he touching that mattress. Fiberglass is everywhere and he’s not talking about it. I’m waiting on mine to be picked up. Had it for 1 night ended up with fiberglass everywhere on my skin. Didn’t take the cover off.
