thank you joy, for comparing these two fragrances! I bought Zino a year ago, and now it still probably 5 ml (i wear alot this fragrance to campus :D).... very smooth, creamy vibes, a little bit powder-ish, absolutely clean--masculine at drydown. Hands down to this underrated legend!

I have both and also vintage version.Zino is my favourite perfume.Beau de jour is almost identical to Zino..vintage version of Zino have better opening and drydown..just little but that makes big difference in the end.if you can find vintage version,buy it..thwre is also good version of Zino from Brazil caled: Vezzo

Vintage Zino and Beau de Jour are two different scents, maybe the private blend BDJ is similar to Zino, don't know didn't tried that one yet

Had the zino gave it away/i want to get the vintage(Ramsey hyped up)i have the tom ford definitely, upgraded version /i wasn't feeling it at first either, but i digg the classics....

How do either of these compare to Drakkar Noir ?

Zino Davidoff = Tom Ford Beau De Jour = Ulric de Varens / UDY for Men (Green Bottle) = Tiger Eyes buy SRK (Shahrukh Khan's Perfume)

Zino reminds me of the barber shops in the 1980s

Man, I still need you to find me a replacement for Davidoff Good Life :).

i finde it stupid when someone reformulate a fragrance UNLESS some ingrediens in the original fragrance has been proven bad for your health then okay oh the actress who name you´re looking for is Helen Hunt from What women wants :)

There are many reasons that fragrances are reformulated and many of them make sense so are not "stupid". It can be a pity, of course, if the original blend is lost. But that is the nature of time and commerce. Things change.

BDJ is the best fougere, I don't know of any vintage fougere that is better, but vintage ZIno is in the same class of top ten scents, reformulated Zino I have not tried.

@@ymugalul Has nothing to do with fougere nor either of these two, it's also too chemical and aggressive for me and I don't like it, but I have tried only the reformulated 2017 version.
