Zimbabwe: thousands take to the streets to demand Mugabe's resignation

Unbelievable I am astounded as I read all the comments. I am zimbabwean and I live in zimbabwe. I was part of this wonderful experience of marching as one unit irrespective of colour, gender or beliefs but all with one goal thar mugabe had to go. Incredible moment which was uplifting and all done without any looting, no damage to property or any fights. And also no racism as we were all one. People with no understanding of our situation or culture sitting in your armchairs and voicing opinions with no experience of our reality. Come here and see this amazing country and meets it's amazing people. Proudly zimbabwean and proudly african

We know and accept white Zimbabweans. however, I know that white people were mostly involved with export especially tobacco. African women were called Subsistence Farmers. We grew enough to feed our families and the rest we sold to the Grain Marketing Board. We don't need white people to show us how to grow food. We had a horrible corrupt president. If we become a democracy, we wont need any white people to come teach us anything. So the myth of whites as the only people who can grow food in Africa is just that, a myth. I hope white Zimbabweans don't come up with this BS at this time. We need good land, and support from the government. For a long time, Oppression came with a white face - Colonialism. We did not think for a minute that another child of the soil, knowing what we had gone through would destroy our hopes by denying us Democracy. Now indigenous African know, from bitter experience, that Oppression can come from a child of the soil as well. I was born and raised in Rhodesia and had a happy childhood in the African townships. It was wrong for an immigrant minority group to take our land and run the country while denying us a vote. Mugabe gave us the right to vote, but only for him. He rigged elections and his ZANU party membership and regime are as culpable as Mugabe and we want them out of politics. Its time for Progressive politics and a real Democracy. So we as Zimbabweans are ONE NATION and we pay allegiance to the Constitution. We wont allow politicians to divide us and manipulate us for their own purposes. My health suffered as I worked all hours Godsent in London like many others, just to keep our families alive in Zimbabwe. He was a horrible, selfish, self-serving, and ruthless Dictator. The indigenous Zimbabwean people are a very peaceful and spiritual people, highly educated and skilled. We can go home now and rebuild our country. So Feminazi, I hope you are enjoying our country's historic moment too

God Bless you all!!!!! Be careful in your causes, please. Look around the world at what is happening. We all want freedom, many, many too many have died for this privilege.... Look back at your own countries past, look at Americas problems when they started these United States. Use calm, careful language, try VERY, VERY HARD NOT to insult each other!!!! Wars are started by a one word taken out of context. Show, honestly, integrity, and truly show others you really CARE about people any kind of people. Remember Insults, and could language only create a fire that once started, there will be nothing to stop it!!! Make your intentions known by these principles and you’ll have peace. Truly God Bless you all!!! God sees us ALL and knows humanities intentions before it is even started!!!

Mr. Obvious The Fifth your flat out crazy!!! I’m not African American....... For working for the evil of all evils, Satan. You don’t get things very fast do you? And I call you a worker of Satan: “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and and the of lies.” John 8:44

Adam the Legend omdz are u for real? Zimbabwe was colonised by the English, Ivory Coast by the French. Check your history books. I'm African myself and been to the north, south, and East of Africa and the English spoken there, is sometimes better than what I hear in London and I've lived here most of my life. I'm from an English colonised country and grew up speaking my mother tongue, local language and English.
