This song makes me feel so emotional, l am a proudly African born and raised in Zimbabwe. We are so humbled to have a special germ like you Mr Marley and the wailers to come and perform in my country. We would like to say rest easy legend.

@@meoshewu It's more than a song for a country. Zimbabwe was substituting the name Rhodesia in the process of decolonization. Bob Marley paid on his own money for playing there at the independence of the country.

the prophet. the master. love you and miss those jamaican hebrews. long to see you.
My uncle introduced me to Bob Marley in 1981 when I was only 5. One of my favourite songs.
There's so much emotion in this song, despite having no personal connection to it, it makes me cry every time.

Every man gotta right to decide his own destiny And in this judgment there is no partiality So arm in arms, with arms We will fight this little struggle 'Cause that's the only way We can overcome our little trouble Brother you're right, you're right You're right, you're right, you're so right We gonna fight, we'll have to fight We gonna fight, fight for our rights Natty dread it in a Zimbabwe Set it up ina Zimbabwe Mash it up in a Zimbabwe Africans a liberate Zimbabwe No more internal power struggle We come together, to over come the little trouble Soon we will find out Who is the real revolutionary 'Cause I don't want my people To be contrary Brothers you're right, you're right You're right, you're right, you're so right
Simply timeless. So fresh, so true 40 years later. Thank you brother Bob

My prophet himself Nesta..... He lives in our hearts.
I watched this and I literally transformed to another place. What I wouldn't give to have been able to see him when he was alive but an incredible voice intelligent and stature my God
Bob was an true African and reggae icon I miss u man😁
Bob marley is like a god to me.
The most powerful....that ever came to music....blessed to have shared the earth with such a man ....and by my father who played Robert and the nahiabingi rhydm on all those dawn patrols back in da day .....
Been listening to this for over a decade now. I'm 34 and tbh everything this man said was so true. Mercenaries still killing people for money. If you're a paid soldier that blindly follows orders you're a mercenary. If your young and see this dont become one of the problems become a solution and help people. Dont kill them. My step dad was a soldier all killing people did was mess his mind up.
Super hit song. Love from Nepal..🇳🇵
This man is a genius, my admiration for him is so great. He means what he says and he feels what he does.
The all time greatest reggae king Bob Marley had fought for humanity and still...respect from Bangladesh.
Happy Independence Day Zimbabwe! 🇿🇼 ❤
Just magical!
I have stories of my father telling us how this song put everyone into a unforgettable trance when Bob played it at Zimbabwes Independence ceremony! #Respect

People don't understand that Bob Marley was not only a singer, he was a preacher carrying a philosophical tradition brought to Jamaica for the Rasta Fari wich promised loyalty to His Majesty Haile Selassie (Jah Rasta Fari). This is not only music, this is a liberation speach.
