Bob left his vocal cords as a timeless gift to Ziggy. The resemblance in the singing voices, of father and son, is uncanny. The backing band in this performance was evidently assembled on short notice during that visit to South Africa, and they gave absolutely superb account of themselves. Got me rocking out in my seat mon ha ha.

The band that is backing Ziggy here is a South African band called Tidal Waves. Ziggy came with his two brothers to SA without his band. They rehearsed for some weeks here in SA together with Ziggy before this show. Big up to Tidal Waves they did a great job! The ladies are not part of Tidal Waves but were carefully selected to represent the I-Threes. They did a great job as well.

This song is a speech in its entirety given by Haile Selassie October 4th 1963 to the U.N. This track was released 13 years later in 1976. Prophetically adapted by Bob to bellow over the riddim that thunders through the soul of all those who have, will and continue to listen to what could be called probably one of the most thought provoking Reggea tracks of all time.

For me it's the best of all the bands that accompanied Ziggy Marley. This South African band is better than the Ziggy band. The living spirit of Bob Marley, Carlton Barret and Sticky Thompson have incarnated in this South African band The choristers are very close to the ITHREES.Take a good look at Rohan's face, he is very much surprised and Ziggy too. Why does Ziggy not play this band internationally? Why Ziggy does not make this band known to the world? WHO KNOWS WHO KNOWS THE NAME OF THIS SOUTH AFRICAN BAND? I LEFT ALL JUDGEMENT TO JAH BUT LET I & I SAID THAT: We know that a hungry man is a hungry man and South African musicians are hungry musicians as it was before with BOB MARLEY & The WAILERS. The majority of Jamaican musicians are all in America and England so the Jamaicains musicians , they are no longer hungry when they sing and play reggae, they have belly full but they have not HUNGER THEM BELLY FULL BUT NOT HUNGRY ! We the AFRICANS SINGERS&MUSICIANS WE DO NOT HAVE THE BELLY FULL.. BUT WE HUNGRY ! JAH LIVE CHILDREN BLESSINGS

Wow...nice vibes Ziggy...wish you had this band when I saw you in NYC last year. It's like the Wailers with an African flavor. Excellent drummer...does Carlton so well.

Great Lirics!! It is true. It is possible. When we individually begin to love our neighbors next to us. Peace begins within us. And then to share it around us. Sharing that peace and love!!!!!
