Well... We remember Zidane for his football, skills and goals.
The crazy part is that Zidane was immediately forgiven by his team and the French people, and most people in fact. He went on to become a very successful coach and is respected by all great football players to this day. Whereas Materrazzi will forever be known as the provocateur, and he was already known as a dirty player (see KZread clips). Materrazzi's career was tainted forever.
Ended Zidane's career? guy said he was retiring his last match, and currently has best record for any manager at the top level. Nah, you just made your career by carding Zidane.

If you look closely to the event.... Zidane actually walked away from him...then return and headbutt him...he must have said very nasty thing
