I keep watching this series over and over. The acting has been amazing and I have cried so many times. Ruyi has captured my heart.

I love how she wasn’t so open emotionally with him. She didn’t show one ounce of love for him. She held her cool and spoke only when needed. She has so much strength in this scene. Good acting. It was a joy to watch.

This is the reason why I love certain episode and clips from the episodes, that shows enough emotion and vulnerability of certain actress. Like the ones that are friends with her or sides with her, is something I love. But when the scene ain’t shot for the day, they know that they can relax and be themselves.

I would've like to have seen the reactions of the entire Harem including the Empress Dowager, upon learning the passing of Ruyi

Да, кстати. Я тоже об этом подумала. В сцене похорон это как-то смазали,не очень чётко показано. А про вдовствующую императрица вообще непонятно. Она вроде бы пришла к Хунли, но потом согласилась с ним.

不，如懿在斷髮後就已經"休夫"了，她已經放下(或說對渣龍心死)了，她的心已經自由，只剩肉體被禁錮在高牆內，自知身患肺癆來日不多，所以只是在平靜地等待解脫的那一天。

That was my constant complaint about him... It's not the first time he says this to her, and maybe she even predicted that he would say this again, but it's certainly the one time she won't accept it... 😢 I loved Hongli in the beginning, and I think he repented after her death [maybe even right after she said that saying], but towards the end he definitely lost himself and the faith/comradeship that made them so sweet together before....

我倒不覺得是這樣。從後來青櫻開花就可以知道，如懿沒有死心，乾隆的情意也沒變。我覺得這個結局很美好。人都會做錯，尤其身處極高之位。我跟妳們想法不同，我覺得乾隆已經做得很好了，其他人都很難做得更好。

Because her family declined and didn’t have the money like they did not the power!! Ruyi was SOO strong! She became free of all the Emperors garbage..He even disrespected her in death burying her the way he did and deleting her from all records and portraits..She became a angel I. Heaven and I’m sure he burned In for all the horrible things he did…
