Through him I got curious about this singer competition and that is how I fond HuaHua, and also the super vocal boys, who came from yet another competition called 'Super vocal' where I first saw Zhoe Shen. If you get time later search super vocal's covers of "the sound of Silence" and Super vocal boys on Singer 2019 with Never Enough" from the movie "The Greatest showman.

@@bobao7644 😅 I love HuaHua very much he touches me deeply with many of his songs that's why his photo, but Zhou Shen is definitely in my top 5 favorites.

His classics are Memory and Time to Say Goodbye. His premiere was on China Voice. It is awesome to see him from his first time on a public stage. He was awesome then, just as he is now. Two other unique songs he does are Ring the Doorbell and Dalabengba.

So glad you found Zhou Shen a few facts about him. He was bullied real bad when he was younger because when puberty hit it didn’t have any effect on his voice. He wouldn’t sing because of it. As he got older be learned to accept it and now he is a well known singer in China . His birthday is September 29 1992.He is 5’3in.His singing range is from C3 to D6. Please listen to Memory, and Time to say goodbye. Waiting for the next reaction. Stay safe.

Just think his parents discouraged him from wanting to be a singer. He wanted to be a singer and voice actor. I'm glad he made this choice. Beautiful voice. Beautiful song.

Zhou Shen is such a humble guy. His parents told him he couldn't sing and he stopped singing except for around the house. Living in Russia his roommate told him he should go for it. He made the Super Vocal show in China and the rest is history.

Try covered by Zhou Shen first. Then, more and more will be recommended. I was tearing when listening this song . This is OST for a animated movie. Zhou Shen is the original singer. This song made him famous but this show made more people realized that Zhou Shen is not a girl.

Love Zhou Chen, the sweetest voice, this song from the sound track of an animated movie, Big Fish and Begonia. Dalabengba is great fun. This is me is declarative and assertive stance. @@DancingCoder Oh, oops, my bad, not to Zhou Shen so far as I've seen or recall, that's mostly to Dimash performances which I've been viewing today as well. Apparently that serves also as all too many reviewers'/reactors' expression of amazement, astonishment, wonder, approval and it's been on my mind. I'm pretty old school, but do try not to mind this in view of the obviously sincere positive reactions to Dimash. Just lamentable or limited vocabulary and a very different sort of upbringing.

Tqvm for doing a reaction video on my newly found idol Zhou Shen. Unfortunately I found him only late last year and fortunately better than not as his voice calms me down esp during this difficult time. I chanced upon his song while browsing the net ... had been intoxicated by his pure, angelic voice eversince 😍

First heard Zhou Shen when he did a blind auditioned in the Voice of China in 2014/5 ?? ( now Sing ! China) . He got through . But didn’t hear much from him till the last few years. Like Hua CY , they entered the world of music through such contests.

To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Thank you again for reacting to Zhou Shen's performance.

One of the sweetest voices I've heard in recent times !!! I love Zhou Shen, he's like a soul balm really !! It's so hard not to cry when you hear it !!! it is so crystalline, so smooth, so perfect !!! First of all, just to let you know, I just discovered your channel a couple of days ago. Definitely have been enjoying watching and am not disappointed. It initially attracted my attention because you reacted to one of my favorite Hua Chenyu songs, Madhouse, but then they are at one time or another all my favorites. Also love Zhou Shen. He has a lovely voice. This particular song is one that started him on the path to real acceptance of his voice in pop music in China. He is just starting his musical journey and is popping up all over the charts there. He appeared on the Singer 2020, the same year that Hua Chenyu won, so yes indeed that was Hua Chenyu listening to his performance backstage. There are so many great and truly creative Chinese singers, composers and musicians. Enjoy the discoveries.

Bravo, you finally got some sleep! 😂 You gave a lovely reaction to Zhou Shen. This is a gorgeous song with Zhou Shen's beautiful vocals. This took place on Singer 2020... The Singer show is a friendly competition for established artist, by invitation only, so Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen and many other amazing artists competed on this show. In this first episode, Zhou Shen got 2nd place for this gorgeous performance. Hua Chenyu was 1st place for his amazing "Jackdaw Boy". Your mask over the videos seems to work in not getting the videos blocked.😁 You can't go wrong in reacting to the performances from Singer 2020, which are some of my favorites for Zhou Shen and Hua Hua. Hua Hua ended up winning the entire competition, with singing mostly his own compositions. Take good care.:)

No they wont but if anyone owns the rights to any sound or visual shown in the video, then they can.. copyright rules are so much deeper than people realise. Like I am uploading a video now and there is no issue with the audio in it, but the visual in the video I am watching has been claimed, I can play the sound, but not the moving images, and then, when you remove the moving images another claim gets triggered, the audio without a block. after you found that out, its 2 hours of wasted time.. add the mask do it once and enjoy life

I tried adding more too the above but the page hung and I lost it.. Basically Its just easier now to keep the mask in. I've tried to lower it as much as I can but the video I just posted I couldn't even go as low as 60% opacity, it still got blocked so thats 3 times I had to do it. I was told Aurora vids are ok and so I reduced the mask down to 10% (leaving it there out of respect for the rights still - I want people to go watch the full original vid and not just mine) - and it got blocked, so I had to ramp it back up to my normal rate of 40%. ITs just too time consuming to have to do these things more than once, and I dont mind it as I said, so whether its 100% guaranteed to be allowed or not, ill still add one, because it might not be in a years time either. Hope my reasoning makes sense :)

He sang this song for a movie and was the biggest change in his life for him. People don't really like him singing like a girl but people started checking who sang this song accepted him. He got the confident after this song

Yes it is Hua Chenyu. This is from the Singer Season 2020. HuaHua won this season. I love this song. Big Fish is the theme song from an anime movie. The MV with scenes from this movie is so beautiful too.

This is a most perfect song in the world.

As a reactor you will be flooded with many recommendations for exceptional singers around the word. There's one for every person's taste. You may have to alternate back and forth with each of your favorite performers, lol. Just highly recommend you continue with each of these performers as each performances will amaze you.

Alas neither western nor eastern mainstram popmusic is of my taste. But… i deeply admire this young mans talent and i love his voice. He has such a likeable personality aswell. Unfortunately his choice of songs bugs me and i seldom get to the end of a song. Hes well on his journey to fame, especially in the asian communities around the world. Wish him well.

Not even his excellent voice can save it for me.. sad maybe.. but at my age im not going to change my tastes i music. Same goes for Dimash really, but he has a few songs i do love.

No pronunciation of 'z' in Zhou. It's not Zu Shen. It's more like Chou Shun. (not quite sure how to transcribe that in english since there's not a correct vowel but you get the point. xD) Great reaction tho, I love seeing people discover good music. He has an angelic voice for sure.

@@Coby-Fajalobi Cool. So what do you recommend as I understand Hua did a version of tengri's heaven, is that right? So which one to listen to first? Or is the referecne to Heaven regarding "escape to Heaven" which I think is Qi Tian.. just reading my notes ive added on my list haha

@@DancingCoder I don't think it makes a difference in this case - you'll likely listen to both multiple times. I'd probably start with Tengerr's performance and then see how Hua Hua interpreted the song. Both are stunning.

This family loves his voice way before HuaHua. .So I’m the other way around. To this day, I still regret not knowing HuaHua earlier!!! Yes, this is Singer 2020 and HuaHua in it. He won in there. But anyway... it’s hard to pronounce his name is mandarin. His English name is Charlie. He has the most beautiful voice ever. Hubby is a fan of his. The show super vocal was where we found him. People will recommend one song from Singer 2020 by him. Worth it! I try to remember a song that get the whole family fixed to the screen together. It wa a while ago. Brb.

background info: Zhuang Zhou is a Chinese philosopher of Taoism/Daoism who lived in 4th century BC. His famous book "Zhuang Zi" tells people to go with the flow of nature. Unlike other philosophers during the same era (Confucius), Zhuang Zhou focus more on the individual rather than "sacrificing for the greater good". Some scholars think that is very selfish of him because during 4th ~ 3rd century BC, it is Spring, Autumn Warring states period. (This is when Zhou dynasty is getting weak and more people want to control of the land and become the emperor. Because of this mess, many thinkers emerged and wanted to present their the view as the best advice to take control the land. Many ideas appeared and become the foundation of many dynasties after this period; some emperors believed in Confucianism while others believed in Taoism. The closest dynasty after this period is Qin, which is when the rest of the world know China as. *note: Ching and Qing pronounce the same in Mandarin, so Qin derived in to China.) In his book "Zhuang Zi," first piece is called "XiaoYaoYou" (which means moving leisurely) and it tells a legend that in the North sea there is a type of fish called "kun" which can grow to massive size before transforming into a giant bird called "peng." Peng can soar higher than the fish and it can travel through time and space to see the world in other views. (I did not add more information because other experts can translate better than me and I do not want to take their credit. I can link website at the end if anyone is interested to read.) Okay, now the song! This song is derived from Zhuang Zi's first story XiaoYaoYou and it is also the theme song for the movie "Big Fish & Begonia". Zhou Shen voice is angelic because he want to express the gracefulness of the fish "kun" and the feeling of freedom of the bird "peng." His name “Zhou” is pronounced “Chou” with the ch sounding like the how you’d say choice and “Shen” is just said like shenanigans 😝. I like his “Big Fish” and his rendition of “This is me”, better than his rendition of “Memory” because I can’t get over Ellen Paige’s version 🤷‍♀️
