For some ENG VAs, their Genshin VA role is their biggest one compared to others, and they love the character they voice just as much as the fans love the character. I'd rather have a VA that loves their role/character and do fun things with it, rather than just treat it as just another paycheck. It just creates more of a community to it. Plus, it's not an English VA exclusive thing, plenty of voice actors and regular actors do this of all languages. Also if you looked at more than a couple of the Genshin English VAs, you know that wouldn't be true. There is a running joke of how English VAs are chaotic/different they are compared to the characters they voice a lot. With Genshin ENG VAs, Khoi Dao (Albedo), Shara Kirby (Candace), Patrick Pedraza (Wanderer/Scaramouche/Kabukimono), Paul Castro Jr (Freminet), Laila Berzins (Xiao), Griffin Burns (Childe/Tartaglia), Ray Chase (Neuvilette), LilyPichu (Sayu) and Alejandro Saab (Cyno) act not even an inch like their Genshin Impact characters. Seriously, look them up on their Tiktok or YT and it's like night and day. Khoi Dao is quite the biggest example because of how completely UNLIKE he is compared to Albedo and his character. You could argue that some VAs have some similarities to the characters they voice. But I personally think that just gives it a lot more legitimacy and make for fun coincidences. Also, calling English VAs tryhards is insulting. Most of them that are in the anime dubbing industry have acting, theater, commercial or broadcasting experience, so yes they are qualified. It's just a matter of personal taste if you think if one VA suits a character or not- whether it be the voice itself and or think the acting was done well from said voice actor. It'd be one thing to say you prefer a certain dub over another, or even just say you dislike it, but it's another thing to overgeneralize and insult ENG VAs without seeing its merits.

My friends and I pulled navia early by sitting on the trees stumps in the dream grave places as Zhong, Albedo and Ning. Then the other wanted Ayaka, so we switched to Ayaka, Eula and Wriothesley, and she came home after 20 wishes. It's the magic spot. You just need two friends.
