I've had this gimbal for months. the best explanation of gimbal modes I've seen thank you!

I just picked mine up today and it's charging. Great tutorial on balancing and the different modes. I have a professional DSLR camera and this adds to my video production ability.

I do appreciate your thorough explanation and review. I recently got the smooth 5s. However after balancing gimbal The L mode isn't locking the axis as describe in your review. All other mode work fine.

I guess you could put the phone in the mount backwards

Is there a possibility to see the modes also in the App? With using the gimbal outside in the sunlight it's very hard to see in which mode I am currently in? Thanks for your help/POV.

CAN YOU CONNECT THIS GIMBLE TO A REGULAR TRIPOD?

Why is no one mentioning that the gimbal wobles and you MUST use a phone with EIS, otherwise this gimbal is useless. Funny enough it defeats the purpose of the gimbal if my phone already has a good EIS and OS... Im disapointed in ZHIYIN The Smooth 4 was not like this at all It was sturdy and it kept the horizon leveled at all times Just like any phone Gimbal SHOULD!!!!!! PS: I balanced it perfectly Also tried it with many phones These gimbals are not good, and neither are the DJI OM 3, 4, 5 and 6 They all jitter and dont keep the horizon leveled. I WISH SOME ONE WOULD TALK ABOUT THIS!!!!!
