Supposedly they've actually been dating for some time and it's a pretty open secret. Some news reporter caught him going to her house and "not coming out" for the whole night (I guess he stalked them all night lol) but the general response to the news was along the lines of "well duh, everyone already knows." If you look at the BTS of the scene where Zhao Yao comes onto Mo Qing, they were acting out the kiss scene and then at one point they just started full on kissing LOL
