Americans are definitely not hard to befriend with, especially the younger generation that you interact with. I guess the most important thing is, open up yourself, don't built a wall, and speak what's in your mind and be respectful to both sides of the culture. American girls are extremely friendly to as far as the ones that I've come across. Let's keep the love and friendship moving. :)

What you said is not true. USA is a systematical racism country in history and now. The brainwashing of Americans is the barrier for Chinese to befriend with American, no need to be pretentious.
