Right? I read the novel after the show and many times was very happy that entire scenes were able to be brought to life with only minor adjustments. Unfortunate the endings were so different! But I'll just accept the novel ending as the real ending 🤣

@@julietchukwuka5357 the webtranslations of Guardian have mostly been taken down because there's an official english novel translation being released by Seven Seas Danmei. You can check their website to find out about what online sellers you can get it from. The first volume is out, and the second one is coming in a couple weeks.

To be honest the only reason the subtitles were underneath is because I had to crop out the chinese subtitles lol! But I'm glad you like it that way! :)

I love those Guardian crack videos, thanks a lot (I already finished the c-drama and I even rewatched it because the actors/characters have so much chemistry). I kind of like how Yun Lan travelled back in time in the drama but I feel like if he was a reincarnation (like in the book, I did not read it but read spoilers) that would have been more touching ? + if Shen Wei really lived 10 000 years without forgetting about him (like in the book again if it is true). I really liked the book, but I did find the reincarnation aspect of it to be much more depressing. Since in the book Shen Wei is immortal and watches from a distance as ZYL lives many lives. It plays up the Lonely God aspect so much that I just felt so much more bad for him and it hurt to read. The book is really good at making me feel particularly sad! such a great book though with a happy ending that the show deserved. @@tsukighost7227 in the book they both are alive and well in the end. ZYL regains his powers as Kunlun, SW is alive and they basically live their happy lives together in Dragon City. They live together in their house. It's happy! 🤗 There's some youtube videos that go into heavy detail of it that would explain the plot and everything, those might be worth checking out for sure. The show and novel differ a lot in some spots so hard to explain leading up to it 😅

I read novel after finishing show. Novel had some really cool stuff that I wish the show was able to keep. Show still had lots of great stuff tho, even with all the edits and censor. Lol
