This episode really frustrated me so much, I almost stopped watching live. Bariş did not deserve any of the words Zeynep directed to him, NONE. She just could not confront her mistake of lying to him (but also of defending her ABUSER). Bariş had to not only endure the rage of Zeynep but also his brother. Honestly so frustrating. The way the plot moves around Mehdi and his victimisation in the eyes of the audience, he is out and nobody, not even the person whose life he ruined, seems to remember. THEY ARE LOSING THEIR MEMORIES (Except Bariş, Nermin, Emine, Nuh and Sultan).
Zeynep has gone through a lot, but it is still extremely hard for me to understand that she would defend M and confront everybody to the point of hurting them to actually go through it... I can understand the fact that she acts out of guilt and compassion, but at the same time isn't it against her values to just let a man go without confronting the consequences of his actions?
Back to Bariş, the way he was struggling between his mind and logic, and his heart and love for Zeynep was heartbreaking. He sacrificed himself for her, yet again. I hope from now on Zeynep will really appreciate the person who is next to her.
I have been planning to vid this song to them since she made that decision and I was gonna be harsher but then drunk Zeynep came in and she was just logical, analytical and seeing clearly the value of Bariş and the people around her and her real feelings for him, that it melted my heart, she is under so much pressure, she really needs to digest everything she has happened to her and start therapy again.
Demet acting drunk is the cutest thing I have seen, I was laughing the whole time in those scenes, and calmed me down after seeing Zeynep's unnecessary and hurting previous actions.

Yes Zeynep needs to be in a healthy relationship, even though she doesn't know what a healthy relationship looks like or what it can be . I am hoping the writers do try and show that after everything Zeynep has been through that she can come out on the otherside more stronger and healthy and Baris will be the one to show her that it is not her job to try and make everyone happy and she not responsible for making her mother's happy and until she learns this she will continue making the same mistake. Baris is a good man and i hope the writers do not try and change him.

Baris shows that good men is still out there, I hope Zeynep realizes how lucky she is to finding Baris and never takes him for granted. He is not perfect because is but he is close.

You summarised very well what is happening to Zeynep. She behaves like she has amnesia. I decided to stop watching this series after Zeynep was turned into a liar, a victim defending her abuser, but then, after the truth was revealed, I saw in Zeynep again that kind Zeynep who was "killed" by the new scriptwriter in ep 28. The lies made her sick, but it seems that the truth can heal her pains. Barîș sacrificed himself for her so many times. Only if Zeynep could see that... The scene where she called him an abuser("Mehdi with a tie") broke my heart, but then she was afraid that Barîș left her, she admitted that Barîș was the only one who made her happy. When they made up, I realized that Barîș is her medicine. When she is with him, she is that innocent Zeynep we all love. Again, very nice video!👏

Thank you so much! I could not agree more with you! Serious case of failed writing of a character. I was going to stop but I am too hooked and I wanted to see how they would justified everything she has done. But as you said this episode was all about redemption. Still I can't believe Mehdi is out and haven't really been accountable for everything he did to her. I am so upset. Thanks again 💜

What a fantastic edit👏👏👏 music on point... you are so talented! I hated the plot of Zeynep becoming Medhi’s lawyer; I understand writers needed to get them to interact together but so soon after everything Medhi did to her, it made no sense and was a terrible message.

I really wanted a happy peaceful life for zeynep but she doesn't want to. She has serious mental and personality problems and she refuse to treat herself Now I feel bad for Baris that is getting stuck in zeynep and Mehdi messy life and relationship. He seems really in love and very hurt by zeynep behaviour.

I agree that nobody expected her to make the decision of defending M after all she has been through because of him. Especially lying to Barış and reacting like that when he found out. It was very hurtful, specially knowing how much he cares and loves her, and how much he has supported her throughout her darkest times. I agree continuing her therapy would be beneficial for her, but also being around around people who influenced her positively, like Barış and develop a healthy relationship with him. He is definitely a ray of sunshine in her life ❤️❤️ I hope we will get our ZeyBar happy ending 🤞

The writers should have never let Zeynep be Medhi lawyer, they are sending the wrong message to all the victims of physical abuse women. It is one thing for her to drop the charges but it is another thing all together for her to turn around be his lawyer. She didn't put him in prison he did that himself.

I thought that this drama will make me puke horror because of the whole mess around Mehdi's uncontrollable aggressive behavior. Also, I felt agitated about what had seemed as Zeynep's fragility and inability to protect herself from her mothers who were showering her with insecurities and mixed signals as well as her good-for-nothing fathers. nevertheless, when Baris and his family came into focus, the drama became much lighter since it gave me hope that she might end up happily ever after with a stable and normal man who will empower her and make her feel secure and loved for who she is.

Exactly, I was in the same position (that's the reason I made this in the first place) to show the frustration I felt. But somehow Zeynep's character development follow that healthy path that Barış was offering and they both had the happy ending they deserved 💕

I don't think you can compare them at all. There are no similarities between Barış and M. Both may have had difficult childhoods but still Barış chooses respect and selflessness while M chooses to impose his opinion and violence. Barış may be jealous but at the same time it is mixed with incredulity as he cannot believe she can still feel something for M after the trauma she had gone because of him. Barış is such a kind-hearted character ❤️😉

@@thefrecklesedits I agree. They are different in every way, I personally think that the most impactful difference is self-confidence. Baris is very confident, he knows who he is and how the world goes, it enables him to observe, adapt, evolve and grow as an intelligent human being. Medhi is a macho, he hides his lack of self confidence behind so called manly behaviours, violence, anger, control, etc... He was always embarrassed to be with Zeynep, feeling inadequate, also whenever he was out of the mahalle. This inadequacy fed his anger and resentment until he blew up, it still does I think, despite his new found power and fortune.
